Should the death penalty ever be used?

    I'm not sure that it would. Knife crime is really bad in most of Europe. Should they be banned? In the states car crashes kill more than guns. Should cars be banned?

    Neither is the U.K they have a Conservative government.

    In all fairness it's part of their constetution, which must be a pain in the ass for some politicians over there.

    Yeah I don't think they'd have much luck in rewriting the constetution, not even sure if they can.

    Actually all it takes is an amendment to change things. It can be done with a supermajority. It can take years in the courts to be overturned once made law or if you stack the courts they may just side against the Constitution like the 9th circuit Court does

    WOW it's acually easier for them to change it than it is here in Denmark, here they are legally oliged to put the changes to a refferendum.

    Not to say it wouldn't cause trouble if they did. But it has been done in the past for various reasons

    England's gun crime may be an evasive itch but a legal gun will not solve it.
