Should the death penalty ever be used?

It is somewhat personal but it's also a fact that most of these crimes of murder and rape are committed by the same people that have already been caught, jailed and released could have saved lives if they just shot him the 1st time

 

So if you're a passenger in a car and the driver kills another road user, then by your logic both the driver and yourself are equally guilty and need to be executed !!!

 

The criminal mind is sick. Society merely needs to nurture citizens before they are fatal.

I needed to ask as the UK has very different LAWS.

 

That is slightly different than a heinous murder . That is a 2nd degree offense unless the driver is intoxicated or some other drug. In no way should that get death. But in that scenario, if the driver is drunk, kills a person while driving . His passnger should be charged for letting him drive in the 1st olace .

We like guns in the states. Probably the reason crime per capita is much lower than other large superpowers.

Yes . You are removing those that will cause you and society harm. Think of it as preventative maintenance

 

Here in England where only the bad guys carry guns it is not legal to take the life of those bad guys who use those guns to take our children's lives. Deal with it!

 

But you'd be doing the same thing by putting them in prison for life.

Not saying against the death penalty neither am I against it, it's just a paradox to me in some way

Just have a quick look at the FBI statistics on crime. They are free record here in the states .we aren't sensored by a communist gov.

 

USA had no choice but to legalise guns as they were already a common product. England has that choice and it will never choose to allow guns as it will only make it a million times worse.
