Consider yourself fortunate that you kept your mouth shut, because If you hadn't, you might have become their next target Hotwater
Yelling wouldn't have changed their minds. And it wouldn't have set the ducks at ease. They're young males. They need physical exertion. Find something constructive for them to do with that energy instead. Give them a soccer ball, and feed the ducks yourself. They'd have seen your respect for the ducks while you showed respect for them. balance in all things my friend.
If I had been feeling good and peaceful, I probably would've gone out and bought a bag of cheese popcorn. Ducks go crazy for that stuff and it's really funny to watch, which might have given the kids something else to do that they considered worthwhile.
Alot of adults aren't really adults. Don't know what you should have done, Carl but you should think about the likely outcome to whatever you're thinking of doing... perhaps you've already thought about that- in that case it is my distinct honor to point out the obvious. I guess my point is that yelling isn't likely to produce substantive behavior change. Now, wouldn't it have been simpler if I had typed that instead of everything I did before this? Maybe but could I just once get directly to the point??? Nooooooooooo-oo--ooo!
