awww jeesh this makes me laugh!.. if you think about it in a cartoony kinda way..*giggle* yeah maybe you just forgot you told him..
you and him both saw with your own four eyes; your limbs detaching from your body? If that's true then i'm sorry but if I was in your position i would NOT dose again at all. And if I did, it'd be dmt years and years and years from now
... this seems to me like something that is best explained by the synergy of the two substances. mushrooms are slightly toxic, so from a brain chemistry standpoint, a bad trip is more likely. However, the effects of shrooms dont last as long... my theory: the shroom trip went south, causing a psychological trauma that was amplified and modified by the recurrent effects of LSD. Thus, the shrooms were the spark that set off a pre-existing powderkeg of trippiness in your cerebrospinal fluid.
Fresh, you need help from someone else. These forums are probably just going to be destructive for you. But you wont listen to me cause you love the mind fuck.
tbh everytime i take mushies i have experiences like you explain, it always feels like voices are judging me. I have found that if it starts happening taking mdma always makes it seem to go away or making your concious mind overpower the voices.
Last time I dosed I was convinced I was going to hell, or we all were in eternal hell. Time stopped and the psychological torment was a billion times what I could imagine. Each second was an infinite eternity of madness. I would have committed suicide if I had a gun or knife. I was convinced I would commit suicide and it was inevitable, the utterly black shroud had surrounded me and would not let go. Will I dose again? No idea.
Mushrooms are toxic? Do we even know the LD-50 for pscilicybin? Cerebrospinal fluid? yeah, and they test for LSD with lumbar taps, cause it stays in your spine, and if you crack your back you can totally trip:mickey:
never found any information about the median lethal dose of psilocybin in humans, there have been studies done on animals though. Cerebrospinal fluid is produced by the body daily and is flushed out some few times a day into the blood. Isn't it more likely that the OP just has some mental condition as stated before. I don't think we should be trying to justify it as anything less and shouldn't be recommending he take any psychs.
wow what the fuck guys... people dont know shit about psychedelics these days. SET AND FUCKING SETTING.
i don't think set and setting have as much to do with this as the mental condition the OP has. He heard voices for months.
Set and setting has everything to do with it. It is the reason for his "mental condition". A notorious negative effect of psychedelic drugs is psychosis. OP only heard voices because OP failed to follow number one rule of taking care of set and setting. It is up to OP to continue to hear voices or not.
I couldn't disagree with you more man. So you would tell someone who has a history of schizophrenia in there family that it is cool for them to take acid as long as they are in an environment where they feel safe and they aren't depressed or in a bad mood or whatever? Isn't that what your saying. You don't know his family history, and since you are so adamant that its set and setting I can only assume that you don't think it matters whether someone is predispositioned to mental illness or not. The studies i have read all show similar parental mental health conditions between people who have "LSD psychosis" and people who are schizophrenic. Can you please show me where you read conclusive evidence that someone went crazy because of LSD alone, where they state in the article that the LSD didn't trigger some latent condition that would have manifested itself without LSD? Really i would love to read this.
It doesn't take a genius to see that a heavily disturbing change to your thought patterns and perceptions that you're unable to end when you wish could easily damage peoples mental situation, especially after dozens or hundreds of trips, like the OP. While I'm pretty sure OP was already someone who shouldn't trip, the drugs can and do damage people on their own. Mental problems are part of "set", if you where paying ANY attention at all. Not defending prone, but you just seem to be TRYING to come under fire.
I do agree with the first part but not to the point of hearing voices for extended periods of time. and if he did say he had previous mental problems then i am indeed an idiot and should have read that.
Oh, I don't think he said it, but I think he's said enough to see that he's just an all around irresponsible drug user, who very likely did have pre-existing problems.... He trips and then goes speeding for fun... that sort of thing, you know?
