i wrote the paper for my real teacher not the sub...its not his place to read what i do for the class...he's just there to make sure we dont all kill eachother, and to collect the papaers...if he dident want to be insaultd he shouldent have read the paper...
Uhh.. no! He didn't punish you, he just made a statement. But if you try and get him in trouble then his right to his opinion would be violated. As an Anarchist, why would you seek help from a higher person in charge? Bit hypocritical if you ask me. Hate the system, but use it if could benefit you huh? What else is new!
oh man...now that this has gone the complete wrong way...thatnks for everyones advise but the situation has been taken care of..you cant just ignore the "system" expceialy in highschool...i have to use it to graduate...its kind of hard not to...and no i cant just stop going to a class this guy is subing for witch is what i would do in a anarchist sicoity, so its my other option....
i think a substitute teacher has the right to read the papers that he collected, and to answer your question no u shouldnt be mad, cant you see how you put down his political and social beliefs?
Interesting. So you are basically an Anarchist poser huh. Why do you need to graduate from a government mandated school. Aren't you supposed to reject forms of government or authority. Oh I know, you have some new form of Anarchism that you follow. This is why the teacher said you'll live a long dreary life and he's right. America is not and never will be an Anarchist society so you'll spend your entire life complaining about authority and government. Sounds pretty miserable to me, but good luck.
Scrutiny and debate is a way to improve your beliefs and opinions. You should have tried talking to him. Meh, either that or stab him, I'm not sure.
The only thing you should be mad about is the fact that you are a crying little twirp, that needs to grow up and get a life, you panty waste
hahaha i like how the posts slowly went from siding with her to pointing out that he has every right to give his oppinion.
i know...its kinda annoying...i dont see why everyone has to insault me for my question...if you dont have some kind of constructive advise please just leave me the hell alone
Seems the basic theme in the constructive advice given was actually talk to him about it. Curious what hapenned though. What's up? Is he in trouble now, still have a job, what? Did you get in trouble, or would you have gotten in trouble for trying to discuss it with him? Did you just assume you'd be in trouble or did you try and get hauled off to the office? What hapenned, how was it handled? Is he dead, in critical care, still stuck to his chair?
i let it go...i know this guy wouldent listen to what i had to say...and just wanted to start a fight...so im ignoring him, now if he decided to start something else with me ill try something else...but its just that our personalities have clashed so many times i dont want to deal with him....i thought about it and decided that its so close to the end of the year he's not worth the bother right now.
If you knew about government, you would know that our rights are not "granted" by the american government. The writers of the Constitution made it clear they believed our rights are given by God. Therefore, they cannot be parceled out by the government, and (in theory) cannot be taken away. Unfortunately bovine america just lets the government abridge these freedoms, but they are not and never have been granted by the government. And if you dislike this country's "freedom", why not see how much fun it in in Cuba, the Middle East, most of Africa. Even Europe and Canada have much less freedom than the US, particularly in regard to the legal system and personal freedoms. Why do you care what a substitute teacher has to say anyway? Do you realize how much of a loser you have to be to be a sub?
This is a good lesson for you. In life you are going to meet all kinds of assholes. You gotta learn to pick your battles, and not to take everything everyone says to heart. I would just take this as a learning experience, and gain what wisdom you can from it. I assure you that you will meet plenty more just like him. You seem to be doing just fine. You can recognize when someone says something out of line, but also realize that your personalities don't mesh and that some people just aren't worth dealing with.
This is the type of stuff I hate to hear. Should American's have to wait until the rest of the world catches up to us before we can demand better from our gov't? And saying Eurpoe and Canada have less freedom is just false. Here is the UN human freedom index: The United Nations Human Freedom Index (0 = least freedom, 40 = most freedom. More.): Sweden 38 Denmark 38 Netherlands 37 Austria 36 Finland 36 France 35 Germany 35 Canada 34 Switzerland 34 Australia 33 United States 33 Japan 32 United Kingdom 32 Here's a press freedom index: http://www.rsf.org/article.php3?id_article=4116 (The US is 17th on ths list there...) Economic Freedom: http://www.heritage.org/research/features/index/press.cfm (didnt even make the top 10 there...)
Canada's so much freeer (what the hell was that?) than the states. Except that there's more control over us walking around with guns blowing each other's heads off.
Hmmm. You don't even know him yet you assume he's an asshole? Classic. Maybe wrstlergrlx is the asshole here, how would we know? Maybe wrstlergrlx has been messing with this guy and isn't about to tell that part of the story. So Sera, you've never made any negative statements to anybody ever? I imagine I could easily search your posts and find plenty so no point in me actually doing so. I guess, by your reasoning you also are an asshole huh? Just going by your own assumptions.
The teacher made an unnecessary and antagonizing remark, to a child no less. His job is to educate and inspire, not to degrade students for passion and inexperience. Doesn't matter if the girl is a problem student, you don't deal with them by disparaging comments. So I think I am pretty safe on the assumption.
that was terribly rude of him to say that, but i'd just drop it. ur right to ur opinion was violated, but i don't think u should talk to the principle about it. unless of course u want to. whatever. peace & love.
