Should females go topfree in the same environments as guys?

I'd be topless all the time if I could. Down with clothes!

 

Yes they should be able to.

 

i definitely think we should be free to choose whether to wear tops or not, just like men are, rather than be told by society and law that our breasts are obscene and must be kept covered. we should be able to decide for ourselves what is and isnt appropriate.

 

i generally don't wear bras.. only if i'm going for a jog or something that requires some sort of support.
most days i will wear a crop top or a tight singlet top.. i'm pretty lucky to have small breasts.

i look forward to going to my first 'real' hippie festival at the end of the year where i'm going to be FREEEEE and topless..

Yep!

But they are required to be discreet and not let on that they are. Sorry, all you nudist purists, but men are men (usually I say more accurately "men are dogs").

We can never disocciate ourselves from our natural tendencies, no matter how hard we try to present otherwise.

Just enjoy the freedom.

 

I LOVE BREASTS ... but i'm a guy ... I don't have a problem with them being exposed.

But what really pisses me off is when people get all excited about a woman
breast feeding. This is the most natural act and women breast feeding gets the brunt
of it. I just think that is so wrong. A woman that is breast feeding should be able to do so anytime, anywhere, in any manner she deems fit, free of prosecution.

 

Agreed, and sadly they had to make a specific law in Florida that says women can do what is natural and breast feed their children anywhere they want. (NO! you do not need to hide in a stinky restroom to feed your baby in Florida)

Still some restaurants, most recently Bugger King, told a woman to cover up while feeding her baby. I think she got a lawyer and got more than an apology from the restaurant chain. Any breast feeding women harrassed anywhere in Florida, call the cops yourself and file a complaint against the harrasser. The law precludes ANY other anti-nudity law in Florida.

 

I'm a staunch supporter of topfree equality If you think about it, it's kind of unfair: a few decades in the past a shirtless man on the beach was considered obscenely naked, and could face legal repercussions. That, thank the Goddess, is a thing of the past - I strongly believe it's time the female side of equation caught up

 

This is very true, and a lot of people would be shocked at how much the whole concept of 'modesty' has developed in just one century. Until the recent past, men were basically required to be completely covered up in layers of clothes in even the hottest climates (such as the one I grew up in)-I don't know how they ever survived.

And so, having said that, I'd like to add....

Nudists of the World, Unite! You have nothing to lose but your clothes! You have a world (and maybe a suntan) to gain!

 

i sometimes wonder if in a few generations time well find the idea of women having to always be covered up as absurd as we now think of some of the victorians with their ideas of men in full body bathing costumes and women swimming in dresses and things.

Women should be able to go topless any place a man can. When people get over the prudish or oggling attitudes I can see it happening.

 

Women should be able to go topless wherever men can...I agree with the former post about breast strictly being seen as a sex symbol, but not the same feature on a man. What about other things thatt tuen peopel on

 

Yes definately i'snt it all about equal rights remember there are men who have large breasts but they wont be arrested for being topless in public

Yes woman should be able to go topless if they wish I have raised 4 daughters and 3 sons if us guys are working outside without any shirts I have told all of my daughters they are free to do the same if folks come by to visit while we are out doing our thing their welcome to join us but I don't tell my daughters you have to put your shirt back on because it may not be excepted by these people and the boys remain without a shirt that sets a double standard and the government has set enough of them over the years but theres no double standards in my house

I think if you want to you should totally be able to do it. I probably would never ever go out topless, I just wouldn't feel comfortable. And I actually feel more comfortable in a bra, I have pretty big boobs so I can't just not wear one and still feel good :S if I'm home alone and it's very hot and in bed I don't wear bras. But I'll always wear clothes, if for no other reason then because I love dressing up and clothing in general

But I believe that if you want to then you should be able to!!!!
