lol not so common I'm afraid... Tenerife is quite hot Oh wait!!! We do have snow!! Mwahaha, it's up Mt Teide, but we still have it :H: Omg I HAVE to try barefooting up Mt Teide when it's snowy! I'm sure I'll end up dying since I have absolutely no threshold for cold weather
i do too!! i just got expensive shoes, never had any type of brand name shoes really...i had vans once cause they were on sale, and i do wear a pair of chucks, had them for years and they work really well in the summer, i buy flip flops at the dollar store this weekend my dad bought me doc martin boots.... these badasses..> they're so stiff cause they're new, they hurt my feet but i've wanted docs like since i was ten, so i deal with the pain and i love them
i love them now, even though they're literally killing my feet i swear i expect to get trench foot with them when they're broken in, holy fuck are people going to be in trouble i was kicking this dude kyle all night last night, he was trashed, almost kick him in the face like twice i can kick pretty high
i was looking at a pair i liked a couple weeks ago last time i was home...i was thinking of getting them haha...if i had the money i would have. havne't had a pair in years
i've never had a pair, and i've wanted them for so long, i think mainly my dad bought them for my "christmas present" cause i failed my driving test and quit my job i totally was feeling like cher from clueless that day...
i haven't the slightest idea what 'brand' any of my shoes are. and i bought them myself. probably the best ones i've had in recent years came from sears. but most of them came from discount type shoe places, and generally tend to be of somewhat lower quality also, mostly because this is all i, or my wife rather, can usually afford. so i have no idea what is ment by dificulty avoiding brand awairness. i HOPE none of them are being made by child slaves in indonesia or something, like i know some of the big name athletic shoes have been and probably still are. but i don't wear athletic/'tennie runner' shoes. i wear real ones. you know those things made from the chemically proccessed skin of dead cows? with some sort of composition plastic/rubber on the bottem? =^^= .../\...
When I'm slumming, I wear a pair of circa skate shoe. But they're straight brown and look semi-serious. I have 3 or 4 pairs of different coloured over-priced dress shoes. A pair of Saucony's that I run in/work out in. A pair of Etnies flip-flops. And 4 different pairs of work boots. Corks, uncaulked saw boots, two pairs of leather boots.
I'm a barefooter myself...but winnipegg winters are really cold so I have these vegan fair trade boots I'm rocking now...I like them, they are warm, I don't reallyk now what brand they are... But hey! for you high top wearers...if once you've warn your all star chucks to pieces and are needingg shoes again, maybe next time you could buy No Sweats. They are similer lookingg high tops that are not made in a sweat shop and are not owned by Nike... Just I tip, I was really glad when I found out about this brand.
