Nothing against short fellas...of the 2 men I've truly loved in my life, one was 5'5", even tho' he wholeheartedly claimed 5'6". The other was 6'3".

Its always nice to get home from work...sit down look at the clock and you gotta be back on the clock in 11 hours.............

 

try getting home at about 11 and having to be back in at 6am lol

id try going to bed right now, but i had to wash my clothes and hair, hair always nasty after work...now must let dry..and dry

 

dreads take quite a while to dry yes?

 

yea, ill wait almost two hours then give them a little hot air from blow dryer.

 

rollin if you get dreads and they no thicker than your little finger, dude you'll love it.

 

I thought about getting dreads once.. but than i cut my hair.

Goin to the beach today with some of my new baby cousins

 

My grandson just got home from being diagnosed with the flu. He took a flu shot a few weeks ago! Same thing happened last year.

My daughter thinks she has it too. She's getting ready to take herself to the doc.

 

flu shot takes a few weeks to become effective i think. even then, i read that this year it is only 62% effective for adults, or something like that.

 

Yeah, the flu shot this year did not get good grades. Some other flu is going around.

 

Dang. My daughter said the doc just told her that. Told her that a month ago wasn't soon enough.

Last year, my son, and my daughter's son, were the only ones that got flu shots. They both got the flu along with some other family members who didn't get the shot.

I just did not know that the flu shot coverage wasn't pretty immediate.

 

Oy Vey.

Yeah, the daughter is trying to get to feeling well enough to go to the emergency room and get Tamiflu for herself. She's feverish and worn out from taking her son to the doc first today.

Now, her girlfriend is also here saying she feels achy and is taking her temp. She's in there coughing almost non-stop.


Last year, my husband and I took care of all the grandkids, and my son, when they had the flu. We did not catch it.

I'm counting on being that fortunate this year too.

 

A friend of my Dad's just called me this morning to see how he is doing. She and her husband got the flu at Christmas and are still sick. They had their flu shots in October. Whatever is going around now was not in the flu shots this year.

 

Aerianne I have never gotten the flu.

I've had it before but it's been a long while.

Maybe I'm too mean for flu to mess with.

I can tell you that I just took a big dose of my Vinegar Of The Four Thieves and ate some garlic with lunch.
