Oh My, Chrissy! I feel for both of you. I know you will be doing all you can, but when it comes down to it, there won't be a whole lot you can do. Lots of time is what will be needed. Keeping a steady supply of ibuprofen (or whatever ) will be much help. I've heard where you aren't supposed to wrap your rib cage for that anymore...but in the past when I've cracked a rib (did this twice), after I wrapped it, it felt almost 100% better. Before wrapping, everything felt "lose" and terribly painful every second. Like Aeri suggested, holding that pillow to his chest when coughing will help some.

I've read where rib injuries are one of the longest lasting/hardest to completely get over. I remember it seems like almost every single movement somehow involves one's ribs. Anyway, :grouphug:

 

Its getting a bit better. I think maybe he just bruised it.
