God, what's with you people. Dreads look absolutely disgusting on white people. Unless you're black, you have no business growing them.
i totaly disagree. Considering that if you do absolutely nothing to maintain your hair at all, they naturaly form I think that obviously means that they are natural. Any living person has business growing dreads.
you know that theres a long history of people having them that are white? as in before the rasta movement... its not a race thing. and saying one look is just for one race is wrong.
They just look disgusting on white people imo. Sure your hair will do it naturally if you don't wash it. But if you're white, you're supposed to wash your hair, we produce way more oil than black people and that's just smelly and unsanitary. Black people can go quite awhile without washing their hair and it's no big deal. When they grow dreads, they grow out much neater and without all the flyaways. Black and white people have different textures of hair, it's nothing rascist, it's just how it is, get over it.
Well... if you've got a problem with it, don't do it. It's simple... I enjoy it's low maintenence, though I take regular showers with plenty of Dr. Bronner's.
wow, i really don't get how people care so much about how other people have their hair, it's a personal choice, get over it...you don't like it fine, doesn't mean that everyone else should have the same opinions as you george, i wish you all the best of luck and hope everything works out for the best if your hair was longer you could probably just tie it back, but its probably best that you make yourself look as presentable as possible, "presentable" in the eyes of the fuckers that'll be sentencing you it's hard, but it will grow back, not the same but maybe better? good luck~

and george is not white george my boy, it's time for a change. alot has happened to you in the last few months and its all part of the process, as much as this process hurts, its bound to happen. i know you wont embrace it but eventually youll learn to accept it. yes your hair will grow back but not fast enough i know, but the good thing is, is that now you can begin a new beginning. you're still changing and alot will keep changing. im sorry that im not being helpful but im trying to give you a different outlook on this. love you
