    On Big Bang Theory..:..:

There's a hot chick. The kid from Roseanne. Annoying as fuck.

That's what I can recall from the few minutes that I've seen.

looks like maps from the car free cities website. oh wait, that's rat's sig pic. that's cool.
sheldon? isn't the animated thing with the fox and the bear, and sheldon is the turtle? i don't think i've usually watched it with the sound on. i like the art of animated things like that. much more then the nonsense of human acting and media scripts aimed at simple humans.

How I met your mother is a funny show...the only funny show I've seen on TV in ages...since I watched Scrubs(with the girl from Roseanne, who stole that show in my opinion). I have sometimes watched 30 Rock(I think it's called, with Tina Fey and I think that is a funny show, but doesn't really pull me in...too many characters, circumstances, etc.).

My dad loves the nerd show but I haven't been able to get into it. As for the women I am not really into the overtly "sexy" types as I don't find it actually sexy(kinda the opposite actually)...but I like Alyson Hannigan from How I Met Your Mother and that show in general, which I think is the best on TV right now... and I was surprised to find the main guy is gay as well and I'm usually on point with my gaydar and creep-dar. Not that he is a creep, just saying...I have a list of creeps in TV and movies that I am so surprised have not yet to be outed...(wilder valderama is one)

Anyways that show with Danny Masterson(I think that's his name) and Breckin Meyers(from Clueless) is also a really funny show...in my opinion. Although I watch these shows very rarely, they are a lot more interesting to me than BBT...(oh no, I just abbreviated!)

Sheldon reminds me of my cousin, he's a scientist as well and can be infuriatingly nit-picky

It's on literally every single day here. So the 'funny' has worn thin slightly. Sheldon is funny - but the others have come into their own, too. It really wouldn't work if it was 'The Sheldon show'. We are up to the series were Howard is up in space. It seems they have all upped their game a little in this series.
My fave' character is Amy Farrah Fowler.

Neil Patrick Harris is openly gay, confirming this in November 2006 by saying "I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love.

I like the show. It's funny. I wish he would meet their mother, though.

I prefer disposable comedy over shows such as 'Homeland'. The show is one of the better ones. It also is on every day. It's just a nice time filler. :) I'm getting into 'New Girl' - that's just a little bonkers.

Sheldon is a selfish, hedonistic, pompous ass.

Episode on last night here where he'd promised Amy he'd go to a family function with her. He reneged because he wanted to game with the other nerds.

WTF? That's funny?? In real life he made a promise to someone who cares for him and he broke it for no good reason. But somehow it's OK because he is Sheldon.

It isn't OK. Hurting the ones you love is appalling. Sheldon isn't funny, and I'm over the show. Unless Penny has a lesbian thing with Bernadette that involves full nudity and vegetables, I won't watch it again....

That's about two seasons ago, isn't it? It is only a comedy. He often doesn't get his own way.
Sheldon will take suggestions and criticism from Amy and will apologize to her which he rarely does with the rest of the gang.

I LOVE "The Big Bang Theory". There is a new show on tonight...can't wait.

There has NEVER, at any point, been a single mention made of Sheldon having Asperger's. If any of you ever watched "Boston Legal", there WAS a man that had Asperger's. He ACTED like he had it, and it was openly discussed. (By "acting" I mean he made the funny noises, did the odd physical things of jumping, patting his legs, skipping, etc.)

Sheldon is just a nit-picky irritating (very funny only to others) genius. I also love the way Leonard and the others, even Penny, constantly tell Sheldon he is crazy. Penny has told him he jibber-jabbers. lol I've know a few geniuses. They usually DO act "different" than the rest of us regular folk. Basically like Sheldon acts.

I absolutely despise "How I Met....". Dear God, every man on there except for feminine Marshall has banged ho Robin, and all she does is sit around, fart, and act like a dude. Barney is supposed to be the "womanizer"...but I fail to see why any not-retarded woman would want anything to do with him. As much as I don't like the "Simpsons", I would rather watch that than "How I Met..."

Well the Simpsons passes me by completely.
Apologies to all you ardent Simpsons fans, but I just don't see where it's funny.

However;all we've proved is that we here on HF have a diversity of dislikes, tastes and preferences.

It's almost like we were real people!
