But kind of. The point is that it's part of a pattern where women are encouraged to become infantile, weak, and subservient to the male sex. And it's really, really weird. I would never touch a razor to my body and I would never ask any woman to either.
You're compairing him to a horse? Why? They don't have very thick hair (Except for in the winter, and their manes and tails)
No, not just by shaving, as I said it's part of a pattern. And for the record, I think it's insane for any person, male or female, to drag a razor sharp instrument across their body. Unfortunately for women, it is considered to be compulsory to shave, and not just the face but the whole body.
This really just sound like a bunch of ranting to me.. hey, I'm woman hear me "roar" but I def will be shaving... no disrespect to anyone, I'm glad she feels this way and has a great way of expressing herself.. but when I sense anger I'm turned off to what I'm reading or listening to.. that's just me.. hey, I like make-up it makes me feel pretty however sad that sounds, but it's my choice to wear it or not.. just like its hers. You go girl!! p.s. I like Tyra lol
I think the thing us razorless girls are annoyed about is people assuming we are less feminine or a hairy beast because we do not shave. An ex employee calls me a man all the time. I ignore him (and everyone else. Fuck 'em, it's my body) Just cuz I got my natural hair, doesn't mean I'm any less of a women.
You've got my vote- to me there's nothing more naturally feminine + sensual than a woman who is comfortable with her real body- fuzzy is sexy!
my mom always told me "its not a real game unless there's grass on the playing field." i only shave my legs if im going to wear a skirt that isn't ankle length (which is almost never, hooray! i'm not comfy wearing shorts above the knee either.) i shave the panty line area of my naughty bits because otherwise my undies are uncomfortable and i shave my pits because that hair is dark and stinky and i always wear tank tops. but i think furry is just as sexy as not. my bush didn't grow back too well after my c section, so i can say i miss having fuller hair there. stupid dead nerve endings.
I think wrinkles on an older woman can be beautiful. But I hate seeing older women cake their face with makeup (foundation), thinking it'll hide the wrinkles. It just makes them show more in my opinion. When a woman ages naturally, and is comfortable with her face/body/hair without having to change it chemically, it's just wonderful. I look up to these kinds of women, and I think they're every bit as beautiful as young women. They're simply in a different stage of life/sexuality, and this time should be celebrated. I think women who are growing older should feel free to age the way they want to, and not be tied to a standard of aging (such as cutting off all their hair, wearing frumpy clothes - unless this suits them). They should just do what feels comfortable to them.
I tried explaining this to my mom. She told me I would change my mind when I was over 25. :/ I dislike people that think everyone will eventually accept what is the 'standard' view of beauty once they are older, and no longer 'rebelling' To me makeup is just a mask that clogs up all your pores and makes you look unnatural. I wear it for cosplay (cpstume play for conventions and halloween) only.
If women (of any age) want to dye their hair, shave their legs, or wear a little makeup (or vice versa, not do those things), I don't see anything unnatural about that, as long as it's for expression or to make themselves feel good, not to conform to a standard of beauty. But I feel sorry for anyone who thinks they need plastic surgery to be perfect.
in the summer months, i shave pretty much everywhere.. in the winter months, i dont shave my legs (but still shave arms/armpits/lady area..) its a weird way to live - i dont like the feeling of waking up with armpit stubble and thinkin 'gatta shave today', but i hate excessive body hair on me, and sometimes i see pics of ladies/women with hairy arms and it really grosses me out. i dont mean that in a 'eww youre ugly' kinda way, i just dont like it.
I dont shave my legs in the winter unless I'm wearing a short skirt, which I do bc my my hairs stick out like little beacons, but I do in the summer. I barely have hair on my body and what there is is so blond it shines like fiber optics. So, in order not to blind ppl I shave it off my legs. I dont have to shave my pits much, they dont grow fast. I will tidy up down yonder in case the sun accidently shines on it while I'm wearin' my shorty shorts or swimsuit and a white glowing light radiates from it and ppl stare. Ya know, they just cant help it, it boggles the mind. Of course I dont venture off the farm with my shorty shorts on bc I do not want to cause a riot. I dont usually wear makeup except for eye liner and mascara occassionaly bc my lashes are blond too and ya cant see them unless I use mascara. I cut down on the mascara since I started wearing glasses bc altho my lashes are almost invisable they are long and when I use mascara it stiffens then up and they hit my lenses and it's annoying. At my age (58) it is a battle to keep gravity at bay. I find doing facial exercises help keep the face muscles toned and tightens the skin as the muscle expand. The exercises also help tighten the neck/throat area, altho I find that holding a pillow by your chin, like you do when changing a pillow case works very well for tightening the throat if you hold it a minute in reps of 6. The facial exercises for the face are as follows. Wiggle your Ears, Wiggle your Forehead. Wiggling your Ears will tighten up around your Jaw line ans cheeks. Wiggling your forehead with tighten up your forehead and between your brows. If you place a finger on each end of your eyebrows and hold in place while you wiggle your forehead it will lift your eyelids and smooth out your crows feet. For the mouth area if you will purse your lips like inna Hard Kiss and the pull your lips back innna huge exagerated smile about twenty times or so a couple times a day you will see and feel a difference almost at once. For more define lip, bring your top lip in a smile and let your bottom lip relaxed, slightly open in a little O, relax the top lip and repete 20 times a couple of times a day. To puff up upper lip pruse both lips together hard and smile without opening mouth, repete 20 time a couple times a day. You can do these exercises any time, any place. Sorry if I got off topic but I thought it may be useful to some. Bright Blessings sh
how 'bout plastic surgery to be tolerable? heh. anyway, i used to have really hairy arms until i discovered as a teenager cooking some food that if my arms were JUST CLOSE enough to the open flame, the hair would shrivel up and go away and never grow back. now it's a light dusting of hair on my arms. i don't like shaving arms because it looks prickly.
I don't shave my legs because I hate it but I do shave my armpits and pubes because I feel dirty If I am hairy there.
