    The whole book is good...but this particular quote/statement really stuck with me.

    Grieving a lost, beloved furry member of the family is nothing short of devasting, yet normal, if you are a person with a heart...

    Koontz was able to sum it up quite well.

    (But then, let me add I'm one of "those" that feels deeply we'll see our crossed-over animals again.)

    I've read this book before, but its been years and this quote really helped me. I feel we too often dwell on what has been rather than embrace and appreciate what is before and with us now.
