I've found a great series of immersive videos that are entirely free in case anyone is interested :2thumbsup:

    here

And this has been a big help for me as well

    here

It would be especially helpful to offer tips to learning the language!

I'll make another post in this thread later on to explain how I go about learning language - I'm too scatterbrained to do it right now.

not sure if that's what you're looking for, but I started learning english by reading pink floyd's The Wall lyrics, so maybe that'll do :

here's some cool french band with some nice lyrics you can easily find on the internet and try to translate/understand :
    Noir desir (alternative rock)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbVf8l9wzls"]Noir Désir - A l'envers A l'endroit (Officiel Clip) - YouTube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrgcRvBJYBE"]Noir Désir - Le Vent Nous Portera - YouTube
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF8kJvgp0_Q"]NOIR DESIR : LOST - YouTube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ_Bxt4Z57Y"]Noir Desir - Tostaky (Original video) - YouTube
    (also 'Ici Paris', 'marlene')

I know other bands (other genre too) and songs in French if you're interested. Like this one about the weed :

PS: and a good internet french/english dictionnary http://www.larousse.fr/dictionnaires/francais-anglais/maison/48638

Duolingo is probably the best free resource out there to learn most languages. Including French. It's available online or on mobile
Babbel costs money, and is likely the second best resource I know of

You can even compare your progress to Facebook friends, or friends you make on the website. (You can add me RestlessBloom)
