Daniel Lanois is an excellent songwriter and producer. He's kind of unknown though, and his solo works appeal to me. This song is one of many that I hum from time to time. He's just singing honestly with his guitar and I like the way he sings the lyrics, it's like he holds back and then pours his thoughts out in a low singing voice. It's calming.

Daniel Lanois worked with Brian Eno on a few albums in the 80s. He also co-produced U2's The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree with Brian Eno.

Yeah, Fever Ray is fuckin wonderful. I've tripped my nuts off many times while listening to her music. I still need to listen to more stuff from The Knife, but, so far, I prefer Karin's(Fever Ray's) solo shit. I like how dark and hypnotic it is.

One of the greatest rap verses ever recorded, IN MY OPINION. Listen closely to the lyrics and you will hear the tongue-twistingly brutal lyricism that only Lord Infamous(Scarecrow) was capable of delivering. Sadly, he had a heart attack and stroke, so he has lost some of his "spark", but this verse is legendary.
