Ooh, a holiday to somerset sounds good.. but then how are you gonna explain the presence of 3 random hippies?
I could live with any of these options, infact, I maaaaay have a free house for 5 days from the 23rd of June. Depending on whether or not I can convince my parents not to get a house sitter. Safe to say, much in the way of merriment will occur if possible.
Ooh, funky.. mine will probably be mostly empty from the end of the semester anyway, but yeah for two of ya Cambridge is a bit far to come.. I'd suggest London but there aint nowhere to do planning, it'd just be one big Camden Market fest.
London would be a fairly easy link line to mine. I'm a 20 minute bus journey from several London-bound train stations.
We probably even out then, well, so long as the train turned up the moment I got to the station anyway.
I'm about.. well an hour and a quarter away more or less. But since I'm used to 2-3 1/2 hour train journeys, London is a piece of piss.
We could calculate the center of the lot of us, which, from a vague glance at a map, is Aylesbury. Lets go there!
Hmm, what's at Aylesbury? And more to the point, where the hell is it? My grasp of southern geography is limited, me being the northern bloke I am
I shall translate for you: T'Aylesbury, 'tis nowt much t'intrest y'self in. Mostly just young 'oodlums . Ooh aye, 'appens it is. When I were yo... It's pretty shocking really, old market town, little else of interest.
Sounds depressingly like Baldock. I've been to a training centre near Aylesbury, oh and Ivanhoe Beacon.
Sounds depressingly like middle England I think would be more accurate. I'm fairly fond of around here. Despite the fact that I have to change my route to avoid charvers half the time. There's some nice enough views. Oh, and to give my house more mad props, I have an acre of garden (not particularly rich, just got a massive mortgage) which has some ultimate chill spots in it.
I ahve fairly nice views off to the north, a motorway to the south, my primary school downwards and a flight path upwards. But we have a fair bit of garden, end of the row. So jealous of your acre!!!!
somerset sounds good, then i don't have to travel. hehe. where in somerset are you going nynysuts? although finnaz's garden sounds even better! aylesbury...hmm.
by the nuclear power station? stand on the beach and look left and wave at the town on the horizon, i'll look out for you.
I second Cambridge, Somerset's pretty much the other side of the world. Holly, stop being lazy, you'll have to get used to travelling back and forth from Cambridge sooner or later....
lazy...or skint? fine, i don't mind really if cambridge is better for most people. i hope you realise i have to get two trains and trek through london to get there!
