    'Much Ado About nothing' is hilarious.
    Cant stand 'The Merchant of Venice' though. ugh, dreadfull.

    Measure for Measure is my favorite.

    but there's always a midsummer night's dream and romeo and Juliet (which is a close second for me)

    Hamlet is my all time favorite tragedy, all though King Lear was good too.

    I'm afraid I'm a member of the great multitude who agrees with Shakespear's greatness but seldom, if ever, reads him. Even so, Akira Kurosawa's "Ran" is an excellent redition of King Lear into Japanese feudal historical drama.

    This film has some of the most stunning battles scenes on film.
