I have once thought a little bit deeper about why most people dont want to hear the truth and I came to the exact conlusion which you just mentioned! i compare it with this situation ---> it hurts and is damn hard to make a u-turn while having driven on the freeway for 6 hours. Imagine somebody comes along and tells you "ey irmin you have taken the wrong road. You need to turn" You would not be happy about that either. As much as you know you are on the wrong road you are trying to veil that "mistake".

for sure me and you are against racism, there is no doubt about that.
But national-sozialismus was not mostly about and based on racism.
The programe and agenda they had was very very diverse.
National-Pride was only a small part of their agenda.
The nazis did many many benefitial things for the german people.
For example families, children were supported a lot.

There is a totally wrong depiction going on of adolf hitler ( ait im gon mention his full name since you also did) in the US. Each time im in the US , whenever i switch on the tv at evening/ rush hour , there is something negative going on about AH and the nazis. I wonder why? What do they want to tell americans? what is the message? then we in europe should also be able to - lets say in 50 years - watch negative documentaries about George Bush and his father. About the mass murdering they did around the world. Shouldnt we? whats the difference? you know the answer ;-) no need to dig deeper here..

i admit AH was a strange human being whenever i watch his video he talks like a psycho but then again: why was he so popular and why did everybody vote for him? why did children and women love him? in the many footages we have about him there is no sign of people fearing him - as cnn,abc,bbc wants us to believe. Where me and you are from it isnt any better the brainwashing programe. Im not saying only americans are brainwashed. society 70 years ago was no more different than it is today. Imagine, they were the same human beings. They had 2 feet, 2 eyes, 1 nose, 1 mouth and 1 brain. Society 100 years ago the same. 200 years ago the same. 500 years the same. 1000 years ago the same. No matter how far you go back = you will still find the same human beings `= homo sapiens. Meaning they had 1 brain and 1 consciousness which was guiding them to what is "good" and what is "bad".

There is a misconception and deception going on that somehow german people 70 years ago were a different species and very coldblooded, racist, evil etc LOL, tbut they were the same back then as they are today. No difference. They surely did not want to "wipe off the jews" as cnn,abc tells you.

I think one thing often also overlooked is that AH actually applied to join the German Workers Party. So the founding ideology wasn't his ideology in the first place. He was accepted as a member.

Like you say he was a interesting speaker, he got attention and many believed in his confidence. Spokesperson soon branches out, and not everybody agreed with him either. He jailed all his opposition or had them removed, he threatened absolutely every body until he was the only left, would even burn the buildings of opposition to create tension and unrest.

If the coming of power would have happened in today's world he would never have seen the light of day as a leader in Germany lol. I don't even really think he earned anything he had, he was a bully that forced his way into power and then had a lot of old party members murdered that wouldn't take his side, original members. He basically bought his way to power, or murdered his way there and a nation can't vote out a political activist when there are no more political sides to vote for. That's what a dictatorship is, you really don't get to have a say at that stage anymore.

 

I always thought Himmler was a bit of a laugh to be honest. He looked so dorky, he may have been a harsh man but I wouldn't have found him terrifying face to face. Maybe that's why he was so cruel lol. He knew war strategy for sure and his SS was stout early on.

He was really into mythology too, even planned to build an Arthurian complex for the SS, a castle with a round table like the tales. Your and Davids argument about the nazis not being oppressive and discriminating fascists before WW2 is simply wrong, like factual (not just morally as you wanna act). This is what people were reacting to.

But it seems to me the first thing to ask people is how they defined a ‘shithole country’ – I’ve been to many counties and there always seem to be areas that are rundown (shitty) and others places that are not, even in the worse dictatorships those at the top are living in luxury.

There are places that are ‘shitholes’ politically (authoritarian dictatorships that torture the innocent etc) and places that are thought of as ‘shitholes’ because of economic situations (places without adequate infrastructure) I suppose that when you have to literally walk in shit you are literally in a shithole.

But remember all the ‘modern’ western nations were mostly shitholes to the common people that lived in them
