Has anybody had the scam saying your emails have been hacked, and been asking for money because you are watching porn. You are given 24 hours to pay bitcoin or will send the evidence to your contacts
I have received two emails they seem very convincing and there some people will be scared and will send money.I just delete them until they stop sending them
You and me both think vulnerable people fall for this crap.. I keep getting phone calls about an accident I was in.. ha! They usually put the phone down on me.. lol
I haven't recieved them but many do and far to many fall for it unfortunatley to find out if your email adress has been leaked through a security breach and therefore is available to scammers and spammers you can check out https://haveibeenpwned.com/
I've used it for free ijust to find out if I had been pwned and I had but I never paied for anything there
I have two email accounts outlook is one being hacked,I just wondered if it would be simpler to get rid of that account
I have and apparently I was really bad watching porn on my work computer. They were able to access my camera and take pictures of what I was doing while watching. I laughed at that as I sit in an open office with 4 people around me!! Our IT department checked the email and my computer and found that the email was sent from some African country.
It probably would be, also another thing that you can do is to actually just google your email adresse that will tell you at least where it is publicly available. You shouldn't watch porn on your work computer in an open office with people around you LOL no wonder it was from an african country
an email threatening porn disclosure is not a hack...it is phishing...they are trying to scare you is all.... I get an email or a text almost daily telling me I have been sent money and I just need to click the link lol.....another they say my apple account has been accessed and do I approve this purchase just please click the link to see lol..............another says I have a cash refund coming my way and please just click the link....all bullshit....I answer them with colorful language or sometimes a link of my own to the fraud squad
yeah i've gotten this on my work computer too. and of course, i also don't watch porn at work, so i didn't even have a second of worry. an old lady i work with got the same email and went on a rampage trying to figure out who was watching porn on her computer.
No. But I wouldn't mess around if it ever happened since watching that episode of Black Mirror . Even though I've never watched anything illegal.
We have had them. It appears that Microsoft 365 servers have been hacked after BT contracted Microsoft to take are of their systems, but did not want to pay for security systems. I often suspect that the problem is with their current or ex staff, particularly since the problems always seem to originate from India, where they have several customer service centers.
All my contacts know pretty much what I'm into anyway lol. They'd probably get a lol out of it. "hot teen squirts over BBC dildo"
