I am all for equality, but I am also old fashioned and want to clean and do the housework

 

I have made my bed since the 3rd grade. I always put my dirty clothes in the basket making sure I have left nothing in the pockets. In the kitchen I mostly clean as I go when cooking. I don't need a mommy or a woman to look after me.

I definitely believe that a man should do his fair share of work in the home, however, it's traditional for the woman to do the cleaning...I mean honestly, I know about 3 single men who actually keep their places clean without the help of a woman...the rest either have a female relative do it or just let the dirt pile up and the mold grow.

I don't think it's sexist...I just think it's what our culture is used to seeing

I like to do the housework just because I like using earth friendly, non-toxic cleaners and hubby prefers bleach and amonia.
I can't deal with doing his dishes, bathroom etc. He cleans up after himself and I do the rest. He does the yards too.
I should clean up. This is his 7th day in a row working and they've all been 10-14 hour days ): poor guy.
I am just mad at him for not sticking up for me with HippieHillbilly's comment. Lack od chivalry pisses me off.
