anyways, does the screenname lucyinthesky ring a bell?? well, her and i met on these forums, and fell in love, and now we live with each other. we've known each other for close to a year now, and have been dating for 7 months. we couldn't be more in love. we plan to get married, one day.

i really thought the 90385790375923 topics we post about each other would be a big enough hint, but i guess not.

well I met my wife of nearly a year online. We were together for 3 years before we hitched it up. My 9 month old son thinks that online dating can work I would like to agree with him lol

 

hehe, yeah, well i see that you just started here. or at least, just started with a new screen name. anyways, we met in about may or june of last year, and have been like, braggin all over these forums ever since then about how much we love each other. it's been great. meeting her is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

and i wasn't nervous, one bit. she came to see me first, and when she did we immediately clicked and there was no nervousness at all. we're meant to be together, and i'm sure of it. we're just so connected on a level that's hard for me to even grasp, sometimes. it really blows my mind. i just love her SO much. and i really do think we both came to this site for a reason, and that was to meet each other.

 

I have done this several times, with Chicago being the farthest I've ever traveled. Planning on going to Florida someday soon though....


I've also met a lot of 'just friends' also. I have really been fortunate with all the awesome people I've met from the Internet. It's a wonderful thing.

that's how I met my guy. after 2 years now, we're having a baby. it's cool how fate can sometimes come in and make 2 people get together. I'm not crazy about this new world of technology, but it's great when things like this happen.
me and my bf actually hadn't been on any chatlines in months, and one night, we both happened to go on. He didnt really see anything interesting going on, so he just closed his eyes and clicked on whoever. we ended up talking until 6am, lol. crazy enough, I moved in with him 2 weeks later 2 hours away from home....i never would have done that with anyone else...but something just pushed me to do it this time.
i hope you guys stay together for a veddddddy long time...sounds like you will.

 

By the end of this weekend I will have met 16 people from the forums and chat. A few have been intimate relationships. Only one thing i've found from alla that is if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is and make sure theres a way to actually find out, hands on kinda way, their background. A way besides what they tell you because anyone can paint a pretty picture of themselves but if theres no way to find out if they have lived what they say, I would suggest passing it on by.

well, i met my honey online--he's a poster here too--zoomie. you just have to be careful, it's no more risky than meeting someone in a bar, or the bookstore...we live together now and are planning to get married this summer.

i have a LOT of friends i've met online. many i would trust completely, some not...like all friends. i think it's great that i have friends all over the UK, Australia...hey if i ever travel i've got places to stay!

 

I met my boyfriend online at another forums and we talked for 4 or 5 months before anything ever happened. Then one day, everything kind of spilled out and we got together and have been for almost a year. He's come to see me once as a total sneakjob from my parents, ran up a bill of almost $600 just to see me for a night, and wouldn't let me help pay for it. He's a huge sweetie and has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met.

I have lots of friends I've met online that I have talked to for years. In fact, I'm visiting some friends I have in England that I've had for 4 years. I love meeting new people and since I tend to be shy in person, especially the first few times, talking to someone online first kind of eases the tension for me.

I wouldn't have sex with someone I met on the internet just for the purpose of sex. Completely unappealing to me.
