No our relationship was also long distance. And he meet my parents and everything, but it didn't work out between us. I told him i was too young to have a 23 year old for a boyfriend. He was too controling and I didn't like that at all. But I think that if u love this man as much as u say u r. And ur willing to stand up for tha love u have towards him. Acctually (in the states) age matters in court, whether the parents side or not. 16 is the legal age in florida. (south carolina etc etc) Whether charges are pressed or not it is still illegal if you are caught. (Im a cop I know this) If you are caught an officer has the right to put the older of the party in jail. I dont know where your from but if the age of consent is 12 then you must be in alabama or somthing.

Bottom line love or not. Love can be there but sex can wait if your truly in love with someone who is so much older.
