"The seven dirty words are seven English-language words that American comedian George Carlin first listed in 1972 in his monologue "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television". The words are: shit, piss, fuck, ****, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits." Quoted from Wikipedia. Which one is your favorite? Feel free to expand if you have another that is not listed.
I voted for the word fuck. It can be used so many different ways and tones to mean many different things. Such as: Not caring: Fuck this Fuck that I don't give a fuck Who the fuck cares So fucking what Questioning: What the fuck What the fuck are you saying or doing Why the fuck is ...... Where in the fuck is ....... How in the fuck ...... How can you fucking ..... When did you fucking ..... Asking: Please tell me what the fuck .... When the fuck were or are you ..... Can you tell me where or what the fuck How the fuck did you ..... Agreeing: Fucking A You're fucking right You fucking got it Emotionally: Oh fuck Oh my fucking Fuck me Fuck me harder Don't fucking do that Get the fuck outta here
Same here. Fuck is such a great word. Stump your toe? Ow! Fuck! Confused? What the fuck? Celebrating? Fuck Yeah! Surprised? Holy Fuck! Nervous? Oh fuuuuuck Startled? FUCK! But my favorite? Passionate? oh Oh Oh OH Fuck! Yes! Oh Fuck yes! Fuck fuck fuck YES!
Why is there no "Other" choice in the poll? Those are NOT the only seven dirty words in the English language. Personally, my #1 go-to when I'm angry is "sonofabitch!" (all one word.)
As it was explained in the first post the poll is based on the humor of the late comedian George Carlin's monologue "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television". I added the choice "Other". Thank you for your input.
A wife once said to her husband, while they were getting hot and heavy..."I want you to whisper dirty things into my ear". The husband said..."Ok....the dishes, the bathroom and my laundry".
Wow! I had forgotten this thread. Seems it got censored for the middle word that begins with a "C". I wonder if it can be "un" done with the "t" put back on the end? I feel a little like George who was arrested in Wisconsin USA after he did the bit on stage. That was over 40 years ago.
Fuck is a very flexible word, appropriate for many a situation. Good: Oh Fuck! Bad: Oh, fuck... Wow: FUCK!!! Mean: Fuck You! Pity: Oh fuck me. Horny: Fuck me? Satisfaction: Ohhhh fuuuuuuuck Agreement: Fuck yeah! Disagreement: Fuck no. Tired: Fuck this. Excited: Fuck, let's go Curious: What the fuck? Astonished: WHAT THE FUCK!! Exasperated: Oh fuck this
