Well like I have said many times before, other religions make their claims, only the Bible makes claims, that ARE being fulfilled. And the Bible doesent tell us to fight anyone. It just tells us to tell others that Christ is coming. The Bible said the Jews will return to Israel. After thousands of years they are. The Bible tells us they will retake Jerusalem, they have. The Bible tells us there will be an addition built onto Jerusalems Old East Gate, and that addition will be sealed up. It was. The Bible tells us all who try to break this prophecy and open the Gate will fail in their atempt to do so. They have. The Bible tells us that when the Jews return to their homeland they will be surrounded by enemies. They are. The Bible states that when the Jews enter their land they will take south Israel first, and Jerusalem second. They did. South Israel (1948) Jerusalem (1967). The Bible states that when the Jews return to Israel it will no longer be 2 nations as it was in the past. Israel today is one nation. The Bible said they will nolonger have two leaders as in the past. Israel has one leader today. The Bible states that near the time of the end the Jews will rebuild a third Temple. A great many Jews in Israel today all agree that their Temple should and will be rebuilt, and on the Old Temple Mount. Vague prophecies from other religions can't even compare to the prophecies of detail found in the Bible. And these prophecies are really happening. There is no device here, because a number of the religious Jews don't even believe these prophecies. And the East Gate prophecy is being fulfilled by Moslems, who also do not believe the prophecies. They were the one's who helped to seal the Gate. Not realizing that by their own actions, they helped to bring about the prophecies fulfillment.

 

I don't get it- what does all of this have to do with the divine lord and my belief in him?

 

The God that has spoken these prophecies of truth, is Jesus Christ. And only this God who has revealed Himself by revealing the future, can be trusted. The Bible has stated that there is no other name under heaven given to men to be saved, but the name Jesus Christ. If you seek the divine Lord, you will find Him in Jesus Christ. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not parish, but will have everlasting life. There is no other Gods, there are no other names. It's Jesus Christ alone, that died for the sins of the world. Give your life to Him, and you will know the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings.

I don't know what you guys are typing out,I haven't bothered to read it all
but I can tell you this

Well, I believe ignorance is best demonstrated by those who have been presented with facts that can be tested, but would rather imbrace a rainbow of religions, which counterdict each other, and then believe this shaky foundation will lead them down the road of truth. The Christian Faith is not hatred, ignorence, or intolerance, it is the undeniable truth.

How shall they neglect so great a salvation? Jesus Christ.

Well based on your post here which claims that I am ignorant, you better scratch off intolerance from you grand ark, because you have all ready demonstrated it. If you don't like the message, don't kill the messenger.

 

I doubt such a boat will float for long on the treacherous waters of these forums.

 

But it was also Christians who came to India and turned it from a nation that at that point in time had the highest production of manufactured textiles in the world, and I'm talking simply about silk. They were prosperous, and able to eat. However when the British imperialists came to India they raped them of their resources and discouraged education for anyone who was not in the elite class. This oppression is the reason India can't be considered an undeveloped country.. it could be considered third world, but at one point it was highly developed and now it suffers because of imperialism that was brought on by Christians. This is also consistent in numerous other regions of the world. But look its not my place to criticize your religion, but if you look into history you may be surprised by what a lot of Christians have done. However if you get out of your religion that you should help humanity than I think that is beautiful.

Were those Brit imperialists really Christians? Robert Clive, head of the British East India Co. was hardly much of a model Christian. Mainly, it was about economic exploitation.
The point about the textile industry also needs to be expanded - the shift of production of cotton cloth from India to Britain was a function of the industrial revolution, facilitated by the empire. Raw cotton was imported in bulk from India, and spun in the 'dark satanic mills' which were appearing at that time in the north of England. So in a sense, it was the whole process of industrialization which contributed to the decline of India's textile production in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
It was all really part of the globalization process which is still going on to-day. India's heritage and culture survived British rule, but sadly that's not so with many indigenous cultures which have been destroyed, and are still being destroyed now in the push towards a kind of global coca-cola culture.

The point about education is good, but that backfired on the imperialists somewhat for instance in the case of Aurobindo Ghosh - Sri Aurobindo, who was shipped off to England by his anglicized Indian parents, where he became a brilliant scholar at St. Paul's school, and later Cambridge. And the Bible states in the prophecies that northern nations will destroy America burn her cities and will come to her end in one hours time. Do you really think a nation like America that has murdered 50 million children by abortion is really a Christian nation. Far from it.

 

Well, maybe you guys could get Jessy Jackson, he could be the navigator. And he would bring the rainbow coalition with him to be the crew. I'm sure there would be smooth sailing, as you head out onto the waters of political correctness. And to make sure that diversity is balanced, everyone will be their own captain, and no one will have to answer to anyone. Full speed ahead.
