Chris you just have to get use to your body, i have tonned muscles and an eight pack so i focus on that, i also suffer from osteo-condromis (which i dont focus on) which is a rare bone deformity and i use to worry about that but at the end of the day if some one doesnt want to fuck you they dont want to fuck you nothing less nothing more, no point holding yourself back because you're afraid to find out.

Chris - what does Robert Plant look like to you? I think he looks a little bit like a girl. I also think he is extremely good looking, and a lot of women think/thought so too, back when he was pulling more ass than either of us could dream of.

As other posters have mentioned, it's all about attitude! No offense, but I feel like you're really painting yourself in a corner. You say you don't want to be judged by your looks, and then you judge women by theirs. You want a better body, but you won't exercise. You refuse to believe that you can be attractive just the way you are. What is it exactly that you want?

I think you're really preoccupied with the whole feminine/masculine thing. What is being feminine, or masculine? There is nothing wrong with being a thin, sexy guy. Robert Plant was one, I am one :) If you choose to look at it as being feminine, that's fine too. But, since you disapprove of homosexuality, I'm guessing getting in touch with your feminine side is not a realistic goal for you.

    You have a two options:
-change your body, through weights and diet
-accept your body, love it, focus on the positives, and treat other prospective bodies the same way :)

If I were you, I'd go with the second option. It's taken me a long time to feel comfortable in my body, but I never got anywhere complaining about it. Careful, realistic analysis, combined with a good attitude, is the road to peace for you.

come to think of it, most of my bf's have been very skinny. Almost all of them have been skinnier than me. Then again, I'm probably big enough around and confident enough to make Chris want to slug me for existing

it's fine and dandy to have body types that you prefer for aesthetic reasons, everyone does. But to react so violently and negatively to certain female shapes because you feel intimidated by them is crap. It's your problem to deal with and fix, it's not their fault that they're happy with their lives, it's not their responsibility ot make you happy.

well, i'll write something, but i don't think he will listen. he complains about looking feminine and being small with no muscles, yet he says he doesn't want to exercise, but he says he wants to be the bigger one standing next to the girl. what is it chris? do you want to stay small or get a bit bigger?

you're 17, you're are going to be having surges of testosterone going through you body in the next few years and you will grow. now, you can exercise and build some muscle or you can stay the way you are and stick to being small.

you said "A girl will want a guy with some backbone and guts, and unfortunately, I haven't got the things to offer a girl that she expects from a guy"
so go out and build a backbone. look, exercising will boost your confidence. you need to build these things up, they dont' just come to you. getting big and muscular is hard work - its not easy, but you will be a better person and feel much better about yourself when you accomplish your goals.

you have a lot of choices, and from what you write, you seem to be the kind of person who chooses "i can't do this, i can't do that, i worry about this or that, i haven't been able to do this, i wouldn't do this, etc" change your attitude to positive "i can do this or that; i may worry about this, but i'm still gonna do it; i have been able to accomplish this, i will do this or that" its all about your attitude - when you think negative, well you will get negative. if you think positive, you'll get positive.

to get bigger, the basics are easy: eat bigger and pick up heavy weights (bench press, squats, deadlifts, chinups - or you can use your body if your not into weight lifting; pushups and all the variations, planks, squats, chinups, body rows, lunges, sprinting, etc). getting up to heavy weights is hard, but oh so rewarding when you get something you've worked hard for.

As a skinny guy all my life, I like it when I am called sexy. Skinny guys are often much more flexible in bed, and we have longer................................
    legs.

Bulking up isn't particularly tough. Hit the Gym. Eat more protein.

Dunno, i wouldn't stress about it.
