Well i guess i'll have to confront my emotions and fears at some point. As for meditation, will it help me become aware of things i would not notice if i didn't stop to pay attention to my surrondings?
Spirit animal---it isn't exactly who represents you the best. But in many cultures, your spirit animal is your totem spirit, meaning that you may have a inherited connection to it. But it is a spirit guide, a helper, and so forth. It can appear in animal form, or other forms that would be accepting to you---including a human form. In fact I think that after we moved from our hunter-gatherer roots, and began to discard our earlier spiritual traditions, especially as organized religions began to take over, that we humans forgot about our spirit animals----so they return to us in other forms----such as angels. The spirit animal is an archetypical figure, and when many people meet theirs, they do feel an instant connection, and often as if they knew there was a connection all along---I had that experience-----however before hand, I had no idea what my spirit animal would be. And I disagree with a lot of that New Age stuff, like, “What is your favorite animal?” or “Look at these pictures and tell me what you feel closest too…”, etc. I never showed any particular interest in wolves, before discovering that my spirit animal was a wolf. But I felt a strong connection afterwards---and felt like it had always been there, I just never knew. But you can also have more than one spirit animal, and others may come into your life-----that has happened to me. And my spirit animal has introduced me to other spirits as well.
I don't think you want to contact a demon. that's my 2 cents on the subject you seem to be willing to do anything good or bad in order to receive benefit. I don't think that is a good approach imo, go back and try to make ammends for any of the bad things that you did. keep your karma clean if you have bad karma, no good thing that comes to you will last; if you have good karma, no misfortune will endure. also my 2 cents
So if i play in the forest without any worries or concerns, and emit love to my surroundings, example talk to animals and play with them, i would have a better chance of encountering these beings from outer-space? yes Maybe the pup got sick because of their presence, was he nervous that night? the pup ate guerrilla glue . very serious . A big saucer containing many little ones seems possible. i hope you will make discoveries . As for spinning circles in 4 dimension, indeed these things are great. I don't get the part about shaman drummers unable to count to three . the units of rhythm be of one , two , and many . simply and divinely , that's plenty of math . for example --- squirrels like it .
Does having a spirit animal in the form of a tiger for exemple, makes one able to approach tiger's more easily? Like in books or movies you can have a character that can approach them when he has some sort of spiritual connection to said animal? Could that explain why some people can be around animals where normally it isn't possible? Well i assume that what is an evil force to someone (of course that may just be a given definition to demons, they may not all be evil) could be a say, savior to others. Again, i am young and inexperienced in the ways of the world, so misplaced hopes or easily given trust might prevent me from making the right choices. Indeed i am willing to do anything good or bad if it can benefit me, but nothing serious. I always confess (at the church) the bad things i happen to do, and i don't do them to respectable people or people that don't deserve it in the first place. In essence i am a good person, but past traumatic events kind of put me in the middle between good and evil. Sorry about your dog. Did he make it throught? I hope i can meet one of their kind some day. But maybe they don't bother with anybody. I think one must have something special that can be used in some way by them. Again, i don't get the last part, it does appear to be valuable reading, but my inexperienced self can't decipher it.
you are polite , curious and thus sensible . and squirrels like the sound of two sticks clickity together - maybe you will try this ? k kk kk k ... k. k.. . (and , yes , the RainbowPeaceDoggy lives though even after a month has not recovered fully / the word of light is hope )
I try my best to be polite at all times, i am indeed curious and sensible. I didn't know squirrels liked to hear that. So if i used the right pace, would they come near me? I'd like that, i could take close pictures of them. Definetly going to try it, thank you. May the forces of nature help ''RainbowPeaceDoggy'' throught this ordeal. Word of light is hope, i'll keep that in mind. I think i got it, partially, the part you said: the units of rhythm be of one , two , and many . simply and divinely , that's plenty of math . for example --- squirrels like it . The numbers 1,2, as well as others, are sufficient for a simple usage. They are simple, they're use can be divine in a way, such as to be able to communicate with nature, with animals. At first i did not understand the link with squirrels. In your next post you provided the answer in simpler terms; ''k kk kk k ... k. k..'' that is the rhythm with which the sticks must collide to draw the attention of squirrels, ''1 2 2 1 ... 1. 1..'' which would translate to ''toc toc-toc toc-toc toc (3 seconds pause) toc (1 second pause) toc (2 seconds pause)'' and repeat it until the squirrels draw near. When i was about 7 years old, me, my mother and her boyfriend went to walk in a forest. There was this man who was using sticks for some reason. I asked my mother why he did that and she didn't know, and her boyfriend said he was probably crazy. Now i get it. That man was no fool, he was establishing a link with nature. The real fool was my mother's boyfriend to say a bad thing about the man without trying to understand him.
That is a good question---and one I have thought about myself. There are people like that, and there are cultures with traditions like that. But I think it is a case by case. For example, I have wondered if wolves in the zoo would approach me, and while I look at them I feel a connection to them---I cannot say that the feeling is mutual. I think a spirit animal deals with an archetypal entity. Therefore, I communicate with and have a relationship with the archetypal wolf. If you read any of the work of the biologist Rupert Sheldrake, he talks about a biomorphic field---what Carl Jung would call a collective consciousness, that seems to be species-wide (and of course, archetype itself is a concept of Jungian psychology). Arthur Versluis discusses a bit on this as well in the book, Sacred Earth (a very good book which I recommend to anyone interested in such matters or even seeking contact with spirit). He gives it the technical label of kathenotheism. It is hard to say---and some people just have a special way with animals. But the Red Tailed Hawk has also come into my life, and more than once I have experienced a nonverbal communication with a physical Red Tailed Hawk. A tiger by the way, is very significant among healers in South East Asia. It is a common spirit animal in Indonesia, Bali and nearby areas. I am interested in this becaus my wife's great granparents were healers in the Philippines. The Spanish pretty much destroyed all those old ways---but my wife and her family all feel that they have been gifted things from these ancestors---mostly gifts they do not understand.
Also if you are just wanting to experience the presence of spirits, and don't really need to contact them-----here is a sure thing: If there are any Lakota, Nakota, or Dakota (Sioux) Indians living in your area, or indians from other tribes who go to Lakota ceremony, make friends and try to get invited to a House ceremony, or a yuwipi. There will always be a spirit presence at these ceremonies, and depending on the medicine man, it could be really amazing. Also a sweat lodge is good to go to too. These are all good spirits here---always go with a good heart, and be very respectful of everyone there. There are rules of etiquette but anyone would be happy to teach you. (you can always send me a message too and I can teach you etiquette and give you a run down of the ceremony and so forth.) The Lakota believe their ceremonies are for everyone, but they are the keepers of the ceremony. Don't try to imitate them, or do your own version of their ceremonies-----that will certainly get you into trouble----the danger there is not the Indians, but the spirits, which is partly why the Indians are so protective of their ways.
I'll check for that book. Is there such thing as a spirit that governs each animal species? Like God for humans? For exemple a Fox spirit that governs over all Fox's? I just thought that while remembering i saw some cartoon movie as a kid and there was a God for Bears, and if a human managed to meet said God and gain it's trust then most of the Bears could be approached by the human who was deemed worthy. Unfortunately there aren't any near where i live. Only Huron Indians as far as i know. Maybe there is a similar ceremony among them? My mother had a boyfriend who is of Huron descent, i could ask him if he has any knowledge about similar practices.
that's a twist to the story . the bear comes to you . you are the one who has passion yet does not seek anything in particular . in another real story the great bear comes to the place you have sleeping while you are gone to town and there this bear does the happy dance of a child - rolling , spinning , tippling and laughing .
