I just assume I'm being 'spied on' by someone when online.

Couple folks consistently view my profile. Maybe the same information is interpreted differently every few days or so. :d

    His test is inaccurate.

There is not a UUID transmitted because there is content in the x-requested with field of a packet. I'll show you with a packet capture from my phone over 4G, 5 minutes ago.

    Here is what I sent

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByfyTMAsv_OZQXZWU19XcGFPLVk/view?usp=sharing

Host is of course the host.

Connection is keep alive, standard http1.1

Cache control is 0, not an html5 session.

Accept specifies files I will accept over htttp.

X-Requested with is the Java class path of my browser. You'll see it with any java-applet.

Useragent is my useragent string, sent along with every request with all browsers. Necessary for web design, not a unique id, and eaily changable.

And what character set's I'll allow and stuff.

Your carrier is spying on you by the way. But his test doesn't prove or even suggest anything sinister.

Pretty sure they have more important things to pursue than me and my measly shortcomings.
And anyways, it just keeps them busy from busting some poor sap pursuing truly illegal ends.
