    ludes were replaced by benzos.. don't think they are medically used as much anymore

    no no, benzo's been around for quite awhile...

    Valium, (a benzodiazepine) was very prevalent in the 'lude days...they were the proverbial 'mothers little helpers'
    Valium was this country's most prescribed drug from 1969 to 1982.

    As I stated earlier in the thread, methaqualone was banned in the US in 1976.
    "no medical application"... they kinda found it not that great for pain, only good for getting high..lol
