Tonight is like every other night. I stroll outside to my cabin to smoke a blunt. When I begin to light it, I feel my thumb holding the blunt has somewhat of a heat tolerance compared to "non or novice smokers". I know stoners hate to read paragraphs but thats besides the point So I was smoking a blunt with my friend, which he rolled and respectively sparked. However I noticed he has a bitch when he couldnt light it because his thumb got hot. Wow. /thread
I've actually held incredibly hot things for way too long without noticing. I held a just used pipe screen for like 5 seconds then set it down and then I noticed a giant blister on my thumb and a burn mark in the table I set it on. Really stupid but it didn't hurt very bad afterwards.
its pretty much the same thing as playing guitar etc. you build up a calles[sp] sometimes when im running out of weed and smoking roaches to the tits i'll burn my fingers pretty bad cause im fiending for that last hoot lol
I remember noticing that about 2 years ago when I asked this older stoner who I was toking with at lunch time how come he wasn't burning his fingers when having to re-spark.
i work in a kitchen, and can pick hot greasy things up off the grill or flat top no problem. hands also look like i put em through a wood chipper but thats beside the point
I don't hold the flame on long when sparking a blunt. its only lit for a couple seconds at a time. It might look like its too hot but that just how i spark it.
I know what you mean...The fact that I can shove my thumb onto red hot nugs must mean i have built that heat tolerance up.
