I came across an image of Sean Connery after his induction ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, where famous actors make hand and footprints in cement. Connery chose to go barefoot!

 

Yep, in 1999. Saw it on the news. He was a badass. Rest in peace, señor Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez, the greatest Egyptian to have ever lived for over 2400 years.

 

Yes, it's an old story. It resurfaced because of Connery's recent death. I wonder why he chose to have the prints of his bare feet preserved? Johnny Weissmuller I understand. (He was famous for playing Tarzan.) But Connery? Makes me wonder if he's a barefooter. He certainly was unconventional.

 

the day after mr, Connery's death, right on his 90th birthday, another actor died, a much loved and popular Italian one, Gigi Proietti... exactly 80 years old.
