Anyone have any idea what I can make with shells- I have loads lying around, I have so far made one bracelet, and want to use the rest in a craft project so any ideas will be appreciated!
You could try hot gluing them onto belts or anything you want to wear that doesnt need to be washed. I love shell jewelry the best, but sometimes getting a little hole into one is a bit of a project!
Yeah around here they make christmas ornaments out of them. Also use on photo frames. Lots to do with them that's for sure.
If you have bigger shells that can't be used for jewlery you can fill the shells with scented wax and make fancy candles for baths and stuff.The fun thing is the shell can be refilled once it's used up.
My mom always makes windchimes out of shells, too. we have done christmas decorations, too. One year, when we were so, so poor, our tree was covered in shells. I let my daughter put glitter on them. I like to put them in my plants. I put the pretty ones on top of the dirt and use the broken pieces in the bottom of the pot for drainage.
