So not many pics from yesterday. We spent so long chatting while having lunch we had to get a shuffle on. So our day and route covered 250 miles and change. Start my house (cause that's where I live) lol Head to meet the boys. Coffee chat on the go. In through Loch lomond to our 1st stop Inveraray for coffee and pee Then North still. Through Kilmartin and Loch gillphead and drop down into oban. Lunch on the sea front. Time to head back. Wish I could show the roads and scenery as its mind blowing. Down through crianlarich and Tyndrum stop for more fuel) and back down through Loch Lomond and home again.
@TrudginAcrossTheTundra thanks for liking my thread. Really appreciate it and glad you like the pics. Thank you
Amen to that sir! This is life! Looks like some gorgeous countryside out there and sweet roads to flick. Making me itch to gear up and head out. It's been a very slow riding year for me and I'm in withdrawal. What is that bike you're riding? Appreciate the shout out. I love it. Wish I could just hop the pond and join you for a ride or three. RSMF!
You would love it here. My normal playground is the roads heading north and pretty much all are FAST SWEEPERS triple digits. (70.01 mph) officer lol. But I often head south when I get the chance much tighter turns cresst and dips no peed needed to have fun down there. If your ever here your more than welcome to join me. This has been a low miles year that's for sure but I make up for it with 250 mile days out. Lol.
Slight detour on this thread. But got the go ahead to get back track. Been a year since last time. "If in doubt flat out"
So beautiful! I've only gotten ONE day ride in since the pandemic. :-( But a well enjoyed one A 200 miler through mountain switchbacks from tight flicking back and forth to a few triple digit sweepers. My friend and I are seen as pretty crazy by most riders but we both started as little kids and learned to rip in dirt. Still do dirt. A lot of decades of riding! Entering the teach the grandkids to ride phase now. Time flies! Hard to keep up with it but I try anyway... Keep the pics and stories coming!
Get the grand kids on the bike early that's the best way. I'll do my best mate but the good weather won't last much longer. I might do best of 2020 at the end of the year, what do you think?
