has anyone ever had a pet scorpion? my sister and her family went camping this weekend and found a scorpion while collecting wood. Of course they brought it home. They went and bought the damn thing a damn tank and everything. I am curious as to how they intend on giving this damn thing water.
ya thats exactly what i would do crummy. But damn she is really serious about keeping this damn scorpion as a "pet." She even has it named, I am hoping it doesnt die, because I know she will be really upset.
nope its not all white crummy, although when we first moved here, we found a tanish colored one in our backyard. the one they found is blackish brown. this is what freaks me out--we have been camping at this place for years and I never one time even thought to watch out for scorpions. I always thought it was to high up for them. I can now say that I will keep a close eye out for them. and Kitty, ewwwwwwww is right.
I am willing to bet that her or her husband will get stung. I dont think it will kill them or anything, it just may make them very sick. I agree with the hose statement.
Tell her to get a Python instead http://rds.yahoo.com/S=96062883/K=Python/v=2/TID=I002_2/l=IVI/*-http://users.tpg.com.au/users/anhs/images/Python_50.jpg
I will definately tell my sister to put the scorpion under a black lite, that would be cool as hell. and crummy, i am sure that the snake and the damn scorpion would bite my sister, she isnt the most luckiest person around.
Pythons Have HUGE fangs, but they arent venomous so if you get bit by one it will be really really painful. But on the bright side.....THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!
joe? do you have a python? or do you just really like them. snakes are ok, I have actually touched one before. lol.. my brother use to scare me with water snakes, we would be taking a bath under this little water fall, and damned if all of the sudden this freakin snake would land on us.. what a fucker!!
she could always glue down(to make sure he doesnt knock it over) a little bowl and fill that up. or maybe a water bottle designed for rodents would work. what does she plan on feeding it???
My uncle used to have a small baby Python that i loved, i never had one myself. But i love them, beautiful creatures, plus ya only need to feed them once a week. One baby mouse a week and your done
scorpions can eat feeder mice i knew a guy once who had one as a pet. cant remember how it drank though, i think that maybe they get enough liquid from their prey to survive. your sis could google it to find out.
