It's a beautiful morning here today, but I'm pretty sure my right hip and shoulder are jacked from playing queen of the rink Thursday.... I'm really pain tolerant, but I'm seriously considering seeking out side muscle relaxers today...

I dug out the fire pit.....emptied 30 pounds of shit and straw from the coop and repacked it...burned a bunch of stuff

also my new hens started laying...tiny dark brown eggs.....I found 4 eggs buried in the sraw of the coop....so the new hens are hiding their eggs.....


my 2 cats will get eggs for dinner tonight

I don't have the patience for baking, I don't like to have to be exact with my measurements. My wife likes that sort of thing, and I think that was why she was attracted to studying science in university.

not all baking needs to be exact, but you do have to understand the measurements. im at high altitude, so everything that rises needs to be adjusted. i used to live over 8,000 feet, and the breads and cakes rose even faster.

the window treatments i am building are going to be set up so that they can hold a regular curtain, and then have a stronger rod to hold a quilt when its cold. my mom has a woodworking friend that might be able to help me. we will see.

I had some Criminal Minds on in the background. I wasn't really watching it.
The episode had this really ugly looking dude as a kidnapper. Ugly as Sin.
Then at one point, I heard it. He uttered one word and my loins fired up.
...it was Tim Curry. Only Tim could look like a bulldozer hit him and then speak and drive a girl crazy.
