Just don't buy any GM. Ford is a little better but there is a reason why GM had to be bailed out and they did not. And after the downturn in the economy Ford improved their product and copied what works with Asian and European cars. GM still makes the same low grade crap, they learned nothing. They have not been successful since the 70's when Americans could only buy American cars. But once Japan and Europe got big they were fucked.

I've had a good run with my GM's.
It was an effort to drive my Olds into the dirt, she just wouldn't die.
People are often impressed as to how far my Grand am got me. To there and back and a little more.

The problem I had with my gm's were stupid things like the power windows and volume knobs with a mind of thier own. Small electronics

    I'm currently in a 2005 Dodge Caravan.
I really need to replace the driver side rocker panel.
While I'd like to learn more about mechanics and body work, I think the replacement would be beyond a n00bs skill.

I'd like to be able to do my own break work and shit.
Maybe some electrical stuff but I think I'm gonna keep my power upgrades portable.

The tranny scares me a bit. It slips between gears too easily. I dun wanna pay for anything to do with the tranny.

    ive always preferred GMC trucks

i had some old ford 4x4s though that were great trucks..most had that unkillable 300 straight six...one was a 7.3 diesel beast

I really like my Ford Ranger. I don't need a big truck, I don't haul construction loads or anything. So I like something that is small enough to park and maneuver. It can handle a dirt road in the snow, that is all I need.

I would not even buy a new truck. They are all WAY too big now.

Nice bike MAMA. I never got into bikes myself but the power to weight ratio on them is insane. I bet that thing can go when you want it to. 1200 would make it a 1.2 liter engine right? Plenty of power.

i keep a small 4x4 for errands....the big 4x4 is only used for towing/hauling and plowing

i want to save more gas though and am probably going to replace the small truck with smaller 4x4...ive been looking at Azteks...small engine but AWD and lots of cargo space
