im getting a different vehicle..

this guy I know... he 52, great respectable guy. Known him long time. He is getting rid of his 4runner because his daughter doesn't want it, she wants a truck because she is a horse person and wants to be able to throw things in the back.

the 4runner has 220,000 miles though...but its in top shape, I can't look at the number, and he doesn't even want to get rid of it. belts, cylinders, brakes, suspension all good. no cracks in windows, no dents anywhere, its been in a garage all its life when not used. Its a nice 4runner, and I have wanted a 4runner for many years.. he has done nothing to the body, so it looks stalk. Guy said the only thing ghe wants to do to it, is get new tires next. Which is fine because I would get different ones than him. Im happy to be getting it. Im tired of little room in my civic and dealing with it in the winter.. so this is a good move.. $4,000

 

4Runners are good cars. My dad used to have a 89 the body rusted which is a common issue on Toyota's from that time but the car ran good for years.

I will be able to sleep in the car on road trips, ill finally have a damn trailer hitch, which is something ive wanted for a long time... tired of asking friends to help me move something..

nothing major at all thankfully! im just repairing some chips in the paint! Couple days ago i bought a 2002 Ford Taurus (i am awaiting you bastards to be cynical of fords) for a pretty good price. pretty low mileage on it too, real nice condition, engine is all in good order, and it has been maintained by the state (bought it from couple counties over DOT.) Overall im pretty stoked about it, had to give it a thorough clean as was pretty grimey.

 

We got a fuck-ton of snow last night. Had to plow my way to the drug store this afternoon.

i watched SNL, MadTV, and in Living Color when i was a kid. i still feel like i had an uncensored childhood, though my dad says that they did make sure we could handle stuff.

found on road dead. is also a common one ive heard. im hoping all these things are not true for my new car. i think a lot of those things are to do with people not maintaining them properly, and with my recent expenditure for legal fees, and things, i couldnt afford a more expensive car

 

I've never had a single mechanical problem with my truck, and I've had it nearly 8 years. I drive my convertible or motorcycle most often though.
