now he is lead singer and guitarist with ''the guess who'' and has been since 08.......I didn't even know....last I heard he was with red ryder which is tom cochranes old band

obviously none of the originals are still in the band...kinda like styx....just good musicians playing the styx songs lol

There is a pharmacy in town that sells cough syurp w/ codiene OTC but you have to ask for it. I went there to get some this afternoon and they told me they "only sell it on Saturday." WTH

I managed to push all cuss words aside and asked her WHY?!? She smiled and said "that's the law". That's gotta be one of the more stupid laws in this backassward state.

Yes, she smiled at me as I sounded like hell and looked just a shade better than hell, and said "hope ya feel better".

i bought some tylenol one today...i like to have ones for days when threes are too much...the lady always has to ask the pharmacist for permission...he just looks at me and says yes...i always wonder why they check my face..they dont ask names or anything..its legal for tylenol 1 without prescription

I always feel so self conscious when I buy Tylenol 1s because I feel like they're trying to judge whether I'm going to go home and try to extract the codeine and get high. I always buy the biggest bottle of 200 pills so that I don't have to go back as often. 200 pills lasts me over a year.


Lynn - that's really weird, I wonder if that was just something that they say when they think someone is going to abuse it, lol? Seems pretty stupid. You should just try a different pharmacy.

My knock-off magic bullet blender stopped working yesterday, the motor died. This sucks, I use that thing every morning to make my breakfast smoothie. Going to have to get a magic bullet at costco this weekend... there goes another $50 that I don't want to spend.

 

The wind seems to be gone here as well, thankfully.

magic bullets are on sale at crappy tire....the small one....value village had at least 6 magic bullets on the shelf for 15 dollars....some had the various cup lids etc...large size

I was thinking about that Canadian tire one... has less cups and such, but it's only $30 right now, which is nice.

I also hadn't thought about value village... I'm hesitant to buy one used though, since the motors tend to go on these.
