I do sympathise with you man. I smoke at school sometimes. But then my school is perhaps one of the most relaxed about it ever. I was high as a kite, and my history teacher said jokingly "I do wish you wouldn't get so stoned at lunch, Boothy" (yeah, i get called my nickname by everyone) and patted me on the back... and the teachers laugh about it. One person got busted dealing by the headteacher, he didnt even take their stuff off them, just said "don't do it again". That was it. My school is great on some things, but on other things... it's just really relaxed about drugs.
Yeah exactly...it's fuckin high school...a time to do stupid shit and have a good time and not worry about all the bullshit the adminitration and the cops try to pull...why don't you just stop being an asshole man...being a teenager is a time when you don't think about consequences as much as having a good time, and you should enjoy that as long as you don't take it too far...who cares if theres cameras and the administration watching you all the time, it's just like the real world w the governmnent, you can't be afraid of them and don't give in to their pressure...have a good time.
good call hipster, i agree with you... it's good to be cautious and whatnot, but i wish that i had fucked around a bit with things like that in my high school days instead of just buckling down and working and stressing out all the time. not the best time of my life to remember! of course, the parties were decent, but they are a lot better at university... if you have a cool group of friends and you are careful about where and when you smoke, you can really have a good time and still do well at school.
uhm.. yea except getting busted in high school fucks u for college and for a lot of jobs. highschool is a kind of important time not to get busted if u have plans for the future... Ideas like yours ruin the academic lives of potsmokers and constantly regress the legalization movement. skipping to smoke means you put smoking in front of your education... not a smart move.
that's not necessarily true at all. there isn't anything wrong with the idea, just a few idiot smokers who fuck it up. granted, not everyone can handle smoking at school, but those people are going to smoke there regardless of what anyone says. everyone says that every time in your life is soooo important (first elementary, then middle, then high school, then university, then a job, then finally when you retire you can have some fun)... frankly, i'm alive to enjoy myself, i'm not alive to constantly worry about the future. doesn't mean i'm not going to worry about the future, just means it doesn't consume me. i'm not saying skipping to smoke is a good thing, but i'm saying don't get obsessed with stress and preparation for life, when you could be living. be responsible is all that matters.
I just saw this thread and I think you're the dumbass with your horrible grammar and spelling skills.
Yeah, have fun and have a good time.. OUTSIDE of school. School was made to learn man, not to give in to all the shit you like to do when your not there.
Im not saying you should be an idiot in school and do stupid shit and get caught, but i mean u got ur whole life ahead of you to worry about the boss and worry about what other people think of you, and worry about what socieyt thinks and how you should live your life....when your in HS you gotta just hang back and have fun, and yeah maybe get in a little trouble...I am 18 and I got in a lots of trouble during HS but I don't regret it because that is what HS is for, and now i know not to make those same mistakes. You can't spend all of HS worrying about getting in trouble and if the camera is watching or if the teacher is gonna send you to the principle, in the end you get out of HS, your record is pretty much clean and its a fresh start, can certain things you do in HS screw you for the rest of your life? yeah, but like I said man, your a teenager don't even worry about stuff like that, life is for livin, just have a good time.
it seems everyones really stressing this thing with school a bit too much. Why get all antsy about a few cats being cought smoking ganja in the bathroom, in my school you catch the whiff of bud every good minute. And worrying about the future is no good either, worrying just takes a wholle lotta space in your mind, while rather you could be filling that space with knowledge and i dont mean some of the stuff they teach you at school. Some is all good and well but others is phony, and i wouldent worry about going to college and having a good job, do something creative with life
since when can they piss test??? if i remember correctly (4years ago) schools werent aloud to piss test in high school? thats pretty ghey, i would have been suspended from school like 3/4 of my high school years if that were the case.
Ya this is fucking ridiculous. That whole "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" shit is propaganda to get YOU to follow THEIR shitty laws. I'm pretty sure they can't just piss test you on the spot. I would be like no fucking way, I am going, you can all search me, if you find nothing GO TO HELL. And that whole no rights in highschool thing is bullshit. Their only power is what YOU give THEM, don't buy into their bullshit and its all just hot air flying out of their mouths.
:nopity: this thread is absolutely nuts. you are at school to LEARN, not ditch and smoke weed. they should make you give piss tests if they are suspicious of your activity, or smell shit on ya...... the same thing would go at a work place too. they make athletes take drug tests, why shouldnt they do they same at school??????? what happened to ricky williams?? oh yeah, he was kicked out of the NFL because he smoked pot. its ILLEGAL, dont you get it???????? its an illegal, controlled substance, and half of you people arent even 18. stop smoking dope, and get an education. geezus. a bunch of crybabies you are.
that fucking sucks, i got busted at school last june, they called the cops and then the school kicked me out
what happened to these things that the "government" gave us called "Rights", I dont know if we still follow any of our old principles but it would sure be nice.
