    I would have to say 1984, because there is nothing scarier than not being able to escape, even in your mind.

    When I was 13 I read the Amityville Horror Trilogy and I would read it through the night and it honestly felt like someone was watching me while I read it...
    Like the house could see me.

    I don't really read scary books, probably because when I was in the 7th grade I was reading a scary book called "Hit and Run" but I got so scared that I buried it under a bunch of papers and books in the bottom of my locker and it stayed there the rest of the year. I never finished reading it and when I cleaned my locker out I just left the book in there. I'm sure if I read it now, I would probably laugh at how silly I had been.

    Though I haven’t read more than 2% of it, I’d say the King James Bible.
