Not a virgin, I've had my fair share of sexual experiences, one in particular has had me frightened since. Me and my ex girlfriend we're having sex one time and I almost got her pregnant, I remember my body feeling cold as ice at the moment when it almost happened. From that point on I have been absolutely terrified of sex and avoid any situations with women that could lead to sex. Is there any way to overcome this traumatic experience because honestly I have no idea how to approach the situation, and I know running away from it isn't going to solve anything.

 

How do you know that at that moment you almost got her pregnant?

 

Unprotected sex + I could feel it coming, by the time I pulled out I felt some semen slip out. The worst part was the ice cold feeling my body got as soon as it happened.

 

Ok, you didn't almost get her pregnant, she might not have been at the right time to become pregnant. You almost slipped and yes it could happen but all you need to do is make sure she is on something to prevent it or you take cautions to cover up. Don't be scared just be safe.

 

Find a girl who is on the pill and wear a condom. Chances are you will be safe then if you are that worried about it.

 

So what do you suggest I do to overcome my fears? Honestly I don't even look at women the same anymore, they are just so intimidating with their looks and beauty that I would not even dare to approach them in such a way anymore. I'd rather play it safe and play with myself once a week to eliminate the urge to have sex & I know that doesn't solve anything either since I am just running away from my fears & I am not ready to be a father any time soon.

 

I agree with this. Now there's protection made for women as well. With proper planning in place there's no need withholding from sex. Be more careful is all.

You didn't come close to getting her pregnant you came close to cumming inside of her. Sex is a wonderful thing and you shouldn't be scared of it you should enjot it if you are scared of getting her pregnant then you need to use protection.

I think you need to do some research on sex and how women become pregnant so you know more about how things work and when she can get pregnant. I think you will be more at ease once you know more about the subject. If you look around this site you will notice that Love and Sex is a large topic and it isnt that way because we are scared of it but because it is a wonderful thing to share with someone.

Well it is only going to be harder for you to find a girl if you are scared of them! Being scared is not something I think most women find overly attractive in a man.

Well, you just seem like you don't have a lot of experience OR knowledge. I mean you say you will just masturbate instead but then you say that you know that is not good because it is antisocial behavior. It is actually very healthy behavior and not antisocial at all. It CAN become a problem for some people if they become obsessed w it and there are all kinds of other issues that can stem from obsession and an unhealthy fixation w it, however, in general, masturbation is healthy and not at all antisocial behavior.

You mention that one sperm can get a female pregnant. That is technically true but also un-true. Actually sperm do some crazy things while they are trying to fertilize an egg... there are actually helper sperms that help move the other, leading sperm, ahead-- and sperm that are there to attack any foreign sperm that may be in the race (from someone else, haha) to get to the egg first. In any case, it is a job for thousands of sperm but yes, one sperm only is the one that fertilizes an egg. But really, there are only a certain amount of days a month that a female even CAN get pregnant so no, you did not almost get someone pregnant. Although it could have happened, you really have no way of knowing (unless you knew where she was in her cycle...then you might have a clue if it was even possible) if it would have happened.

In any case, relax over the masturbation thing. When not taken to an extreme is it healthy and also, all you need to do with sex is use protection (correctly) and stop worrying.
