Kate Boy comes from Australia, but the two guys who provide the beats are Norwegian. Love both of these tracks, the second one is a live studio effort. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1-Zl6PGjKc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxRYAerpw6I
One of my favourite live performances from the Icelandic house masters Gus Gus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e96lbFiG_k8
Young Galaxy are from Canada, but it's the same latitude so sort of Scandinavian. One of the many bands who have been influenced by The Knife. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSpM9zDPwj4 Austra are also Canadian. There's a version out there somewhere with actual tits in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjKtbCx3piM
Fade Away bySusanne Sundfør, from her new album out this year Ten Love Songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PS9xLhn-1vw
Fever Ray was the best thing Karin Dreijer Andersen (The Knife) ever did. There's a band that kind of disappeared up their own asses, and then disappeared. Too much Laurie Anderson in their last opera album. This spin off self titled album though is beyond epic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWFb5z3kUSQ I liked some of the remixes they did on their last remix album though, and this video is so weird it's actually slightly scary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcXg_p-Yj18 Kino and Heartbeats are two of my all time favourite tracks of their, from the live CD on Silent Shout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-SfiiSoGc0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrjwqXwyzNU Can't not mention this video as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKqzL6tYGjw
