Personally, I loved itt. I watched Saw 1 in the afternoon with some friends and then went to the theatre to see the second one. I was scared out of my mind. It was so gruesome, but I love being scared that way. It's thrilling to be terrified but at the same time know that nothing can really happen to you.

I thought they were both silly, and not very scary, but great fun and engaging anyway. The second slightly outdid the first for wince factor, loved the needle pit and razor wrist-trap.
Those movies were way over hyped. But they were ok. I hate the way horror movies today are promoted and hyped up so much, then when you see them it can be a let down cause they are nothing like how they were promoted. It's lies and BS just to get your money.
I think the first and 2nd ones are the BEST of the series,then they get stupid.............. I have the first 2 on VHS and love em!!
