The Jews have much more complex systems of numerology(if that's the right word) in the Kabalistic system. But there it's allegedly about discerning hidden or esoteric meanings. IMO probably a waste of time.

if you want something else interesting along the same lines, look into the meanings/significances of the materials used in the building of the temple as well as the numerological and geometric significances.

IMO all it takes is an interest. Curiosity or some other kind of motivation. To me it seems a waste of time too but hey, so is collecting stamps to me.

 

It would depend on what if any actions people took as a result of the meanings derived from numerology. I assume they would be mostly harmless, but you never know.

evil is not a personality nor a personage. whatever gods, governments or any damd thing else see fit to exist, aggressiveness and evil, are one and the same.

 

The bible is a truly fascinating thing. It was probably put together by a bunch of real geniuses.

before christ, there was a monastic order called the essenes. the dead sea scroles, were their corrispondences, in the process of creating it. that is why very powerful fundimentalist influences, don't want ordinary people to be able to understand this and piece it together. while their intentions i believe to have been both serious and good, being human, i do not doubt they grinned and even giggled occasionally.

whether or not they intended it to be able to both support and deny all things, members to the second mycean council, who mostly determined what it would ultimately contain, may very well have.

certainly its leaders since that time, have had an interest in convincing us to interpret it, in ways which do.

 

you cannot have something be uniquely all powerful, and at the same time, have a meaningful enemy for it. for the simple reason, that it would be a complete self contradiction.

nor does the possibility of one thing, being more powerful then all others, require them to form a hierarchy.

nor is our earth, any more down, from any place else, then any place else is.

you can have a god though, or even lots of them, and you can even have something more powerful then anything else.

the idea of anything human, knowing the will of any god, that is beyond the pale too.

people tell stories and publishers print books, because publishers believe they can sell them.

has nothing to do with verification of truth.

what we can do, besides being nice to things which are neither physical nor imaginary, is to observe what causes harm and to avoid causing it.
