We had a party at work today, and now I don't want to work. But I need to finish something I said I would...obviously I should have taken the party into account before committing myself...

 

My work had a employee party last week, we have them once a year...i didn't go

 

why ?? i was thinking of those children who died at sandy hook today who are going to miss Christmas this year so sad

 

I've cried for those kids several times since I read the news.

 

OK sorry but I'm going to go all Jennifer19 on your asses for a second (no offense jen :love but holy shit a friend of mine pissed me off today.

He always comes to me to get weed because I have more reliable hookups. He's been asking me every day for a week. I would have been good for another week, but I said sure I'll buy some weed this weekend and I'll hook you up.

Today I send him a message asking him if he's out. As in if he has no more weed whatsoever. My intention was to give him a few buds to get him to the weekend.

His reply was something along the lines of ''Yes, I need weed. I thought I had made that clear when I told you about it on friday, saturday, sunday monday, tuesday, and again yesterday. Thanks.''

So I told him ''Dude don't get your panties in a bunch, I'm asking you if you are completely out because if you are I can spare a bit until we get it, I'm trying to help here''

He replied ''if I was out I would have told you when we spoke yesterday.'' in a sort of ''you should have assumed this'' fashion.

Youre welcome, asshole. I think I'm gonna keep this weed for myself and he can smoke his shwag.

Yeah it seems to be the best course of action...

For me it's when I think about the fact that those kids probably already had a bunch of presents wrapped and under the tree. I just think of their families opening those little presents and doing a cleanup of those things... It's going to be the saddest thing ever.

Okay, my turn. Last night I got up around 2 AM to use the toilet. There in the bathroom was my wife, wanting to have a conversation about the toilet running. "Just jiggle the handle," I told her. "Do the kids know about jiggling the handle?" she asked. "They'll learn," I said. Then she had to impress upon me the fact that a lot of water was being wasted, which of course had already occurred to me.

My issues are (1) I just wanted to use the damn toilet, dammit, (2) what the hell was she doing in the upstairs bathroom in the first place, since there's a bathroom within two paces from her bedroom door downstairs? I thought when she moved to the downstairs bedroom I would have her out of my face at night, but no, she comes upstairs and is there right when I come out of my room in the middle of the night.

OKAY???

This got the waterworks leaking all over again...

 

Yeah... It's going to be hard on those families. Every year from now on is going to be hard.

 

Lots of people....families and friends and aunts and uncles and friends of uncles and aunts, 2nd brothers, neighbors, town, schools, 4th uncle removed twice then prisoned.

 

Hell yeah! We don't want the world to end because we have way too much fun. :reddevil:
