Fascinating series of bizarre assertions and wobbly opinions but the main thing is that you are finally admitting you have double-standards.
I sincerely give you credit for admitting this publically.

Personally, Im encouraged that Christians are once again held to a much higher standard than anyone else.
Well what can I say, its has nothing to do with us and everything to do with Him.

Judging from the responses here it might be a better idea to create an Ant-'X'tian forum for people like Skip and SoaringEagle.
That way you wont have your minds opened up by people who actually practice the faith.
You wouldnt want that to happen!

face it if thatds what happened, thats where you'd be all day tryin to close peoples minds (no minds ever opened by believe it or suffer...minds only open when you question..question reality and blind faith..believe it or suffer only closes minds to rationality)

But hey... lots of 'gays' have converted to Christianity and lots of them still are Christians now.

Well it doesn't infuriate me, I am just not interested, thanks anyway.
I opened my mind to it, even believed it for at least a year or two, but by the age of eleven, I decided that I didn't believe in hell, and never again could call myself a Christian.
If Jesus showed up in person and said that to get into heaven I had to let him take my sins and pay for them or else no entry, I would say no thank you. I will pay for my sins myself, and if really pressed I might be talked into letting the devil pay for them. Unless of course the devil is the good one and god is just the bad one faking it. Either way, Jesus would be the last person I would pawn off my sins onto. He has enough already. It is almost like a get out of jail free card, just say yes and you're in...
I guess that if its all true what Christians say, I am hellbound. I can accept that, because I have no one to blame but myself if that ends up to be the case. I can't say, 'But the pastor said.... or the bible said...' I can only say I made my best call, and take full responsibility for the outcome.

 

Not for nothing but I think all the Christians that wanted this sanctuary have left the forum due to bashing. There's a thread on page 4 asking who wants it but so far haven't seen or heard from any of them.

I agree curtail the bashing, from what I've seen there's been humiliation, ridicule and direct profanity at times in this forum.

That was after three years of Christian schooling, where we were supposed to memorize twelve verses a day....
Later, around 17, I read the KJAV through, and over the next few years, the Good News version, and NIV. I found certain chapters deathly dull, like numbers, but I found much that I agreed with. It is too bad that I am not allowed to make my own mind up as to what all that literature actually means. It is all I can do, though. And, my conclusions are way off virtually any churchs' views. I will stick with my own sense of reason, and also follow my heart.
If they say I'm wrong, and can't convince me why, then I cannot accept it, and won't agree with them. No matter who it is.
I debunk and reject that which I do not find rings true for me. For me. Only me. You go ahead and reach your own conclusions. And if you disagree with me, good. I will never say that your beliefs are wrong for you. How would I know? I only try to see what is right for me.

As Ive said before, Im entirely happy to see your Christianity forum be just like any other.
Except more open to free speech and bashing, hatred and false accusations than any other.
Like I say, being held to a higher and stricter standard can only be a sign we are onto something good.

The fact that you've been banned more than once and are being threatened with banning yet again, along with your rants in this thread and lack of respect toward the site owner and operator suggests to me that the problem isn't your world view, it's your confrontational personality.

Well I am a Christian and Skip knows that when he writes derogatory and insulting comments about us.

'Bashing' seems to be a pretty subjective term although you seem to have decided you found some already.
