Thank you both! Fortunately, I am in a small town that is safe from the actual wildfires. We're just smoked in. It's eerie. Red sun, orange or no moon.
Surprised we have no fires in CT, despite our severe lack of rain. Never been to CA myself. My younger sister has been in San Diego though. (Pic is Berlin, CT one recent morning after 10:30 EDT.)
