I have been looking for the 'right' roommate since july and a few people almost said yes but then passed, which is cool and all good.

If someone takes up the extra room my rent will drop $100. I want that 100, but i have had lots of patiences trying to find the right person.

 

Having a desk is so nice. I used to sit on my bed all the time with my laptop.

 

The desk i have i got at a free garage sale...its ok but keeps falling apart for reasons im not sure... Doesnt have a lot of the pieces it had when i first picked it up..

 

the tiny desk our computer is on will be my sewing desk eventually, we are planning on a built in desk/ bookcase. this desk will be my sewing desk because when we moved it last we forgot to shut the back hatch, and one of the drawers slid out and into the street, breaking into several pieces. so we stop, back up, i run to grab it, as another car stops as well and an old man gets out. and im running like a bat out of hell, because the box that was sitting in the drawer had dumped out, and i knew what box it was. i flagged the guy off and thankfully he cooperated.

i suppose this would have been a better story if the porn had been strewn across the street and i had had to endure being mortified. dodged a bullet that day.

 

ordered a 10 pack of timbits... just ate a bunch, at least 4 or 5... and realized, theres still 10 in the box

either i'm super fucking baked and just cant count again, like last time with my age... or they gave me a bunch of extra

Either way, i feel like i'm getting extra timbits :2thumbsup:

it's a gross one out there today, 5C + rain = nasty, melting snow.

mondays are kind of a waste when looking for jobs, since there is nobody posting up new openings on the weekends. i find that tuesday, wednesday, and thursday are the only days really worth looking. that said, i applied to deliver newspapers... seems like a decent temporary gig.
