you getting a ''smart meter''...we have them now...they say it will save you money....do you guys payy more dough at peak hours for electricity?

 

No it's all the same price for electricity no peak points........

I'm not sure what sort of meters if they are smart meters the one that is out there now is digital....soo it's a upgrade from that....

still waiting on my employment insurance claim to be processed... it takes them forever. i think it's because i worked for my dad, so they have to do a little investigating to make sure it's legitimate and that they haven't hired anyone to replace me (they haven't, so i'm all good). today makes 4 weeks without work, and without any pay. had to dip a few dollars into my line of credit today to make rent, so i'm really hoping they process it soon. i'll get all of the back pay, but it sucks right now.

i think the main feature of smart meters is that they just drive by in a truck to check them. there were some places where smart water meters were malfunctioning, people were getting exorbitantly high water bills.i think i prefer not having folks all up in my yard, but i also keep an eye on our usage, so that we dont get surprised

 

We have a well and use water from that. However, we were basically harassed for about 1 1/2 years to hook into the water line that was laid down our road here. Our neighbors had/have a well, but they did choose to go with the county water line. We were like WTH! - is that supposed to actually be a choice - get free water from the well or pay for water with chemicals added?
