Two independent research teams report that Russia used a sophisticated network of bots, human trolls, websites, and social media accounts to instigate, echo, and amplify false news about Hillary Clinton during the campaign.
They used false health claims, conspiracy theories, fears of nuclear war, and hacked email accounts to defeat Clinton and aid Trump.

Over 200 propaganda websites were identified as being viewed by 15 million Ameraicans.
Fake storise planted on FaceBook were viewed 123 million times.

You may have noticed the flood of these fake stories on the net if you tried to do any research about the elction as I did. It was very hard to get through the same idiotic stories repeated over and over again on various sites that topped Goggle searches. Real information was drowned in the flood.

One Russian site, RT, has interviewed Trump and his National Security Advisor Michael Fylnn attended a gala event held by them in Russia, he compares them to CNN.

It appears the Russians and the White Superacists have keys to the White House.

This is not just about Hillary Clinton, it's about the Russians influencing our government and the integrity of the entire internet.

    You may not be concerned.

They used this forum too. It was part of the problem, not the solution.

Fuck no. Nobody has to accept anything.

When money is doing all the driving nobody is steering and the Russians are merely taking advantage of the situation. How can you possibly call the US a democracy when approval of congress reaches as low as 7%, yet, over half the population insists the government and mass media they call evil lie to them for their own protection and one in five insists the sun revolves around the earth? When we just elected a huge professional wrestling fan and reality TV star as president and in over ten years I have yet to hear a single person identify the simple distinction between a lynch mob and a democracy? Its mob rule which is something Putin understands.

Let's see, left wing mainstream media, using copious false "news" stories, tried to propagandized Hillary in to the presidency, and is the propaganda arm of liberalism, is now alleging that Russia has spread fake news.

    Why don't I believe it???

  8. With the rise of globalism I think it's kind of ridiculous to single out any one country for having undue influence in the US government. The whole world's been bought and sold by international corporations. Big business gives us our candidates in the first place, and we're supposed to be upset because a country is trying to influence us in favor of one appointed candidate or the other?

I could care less if Russia drops leaflets all over the US telling us to revolt against our government at this point. It doesn't matter anymore. Nothing has any meaning.

Internet integrity? There is no integrity on the web. We believe there has to be in order to feel safe but the reality is, ethics and morals on the web do not exist.

That link you posted calls out vehicles like facebook; then in the opening paragraph, there is a link to Zuckerberg stating that 99% of news on facebook is authentic. So, which is it: fake or authentic?

In propornot's research the claim 200 websites yet cite none. Then list EXAMPLES of websites used as prop machines and provide example articles, again do not cite any actual "fake news" articles just speculate. They whole report is just speculation as they do not publish any credible evidence. If you look closely, they actual seem to come across as propaganda in itself.

You need to let go of your confirmation bias. You continue to overlook any badness on HRC part but continue to spew out the Trump racist, Putin bad, HRC good machine. Sometimes you come across as thinking the protest of the sixties is the same as the ones today, they are not. There was meaning then, now it is mob rule, which cannot happen.

Get over the popular vote routine. Romney won it in 2012 but Obama won the electorate: was that cool to you? If the popular vote was all that matters then rural America would lose out: ironically that is where Trump dominated.

    https://www.rt.com/usa/368182-election-russia-propaganda-claim/

The key phrase in this article is that the Washington Post used the "word propaganda 20 times". That is called Repetition bias, saying it so many times so we begin to believe it. That is the problem with the words or phrases: Racist, Racism, Homophobe, terrorism, terrorists, war on terror, The KKK, white supremacists, Nazis etc etc.

That is MSM doing, instilling it in our minds to the point we "see" it everywhere and associate certain demographics with it.

Quantum encryption for the entire internet could start to become a reality in the near future simply because too many countries and businesses are tired of exactly this kind of bullshit and the technology is starting to mature.

Obama won the popular vote in 2012.

By integrity of the internet I was referring to the ability to find factual information.

Propornot does list websites and site examples.

Confirmation bias works both ways. I really get tired of correcting all the bull shit like "Romney won the popular election in 2012" God, do some research before you embarrass yourselves. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...how many more references do you want?????

Finally I really don't give a shit what you people believe, don't read my threads if you don't like them, don't comment, I really don't care.
I'll continue to post what I want and everyone else is free to post what they want.

The fact is, most news is fake. This includes news from the mainstream, as well as the so-called "alternative" media.

Thank you, not many people admit when they are wrong.

But this is not the first time I have heard that Romney won the popular vote in 2012.
