I never cared much for him but he said something recently concerning religious and politics in America that was pretty spot on.
I wasted my money buying his book because I was curious about him. I discovered that I dislike him very much and threw the book in the trash to save anyone else from reading it.
Get him to the greek was a good comedy. I generally seperate things I hear about an actor and the movie he's playing in. But I haven't heard much about him anyway. So yes, he definitely has his funny moments in movies. Really, I would not ruin my opinion on a good movie because the actor might have done something dubious irl. What's the point of that?
